 Right So I got ME2 today and started playing. All went well till I got into the omega. I started to get screeching noises with screen pauzes when I got there and its seems like every time I am in a dialogue it keeps freezing up with no apparent reason. I'm not sure if the problem lies with my xxbox or my disc, because after I rebooted the xbox it once screeched and came to a freeze by itself (without starting ME2)

All advise to fix this is welcome.

Because, I didn't see the red lights flash up, it just froze for no apparent reason.

the same thing was happening to me last night.. it would screech and freeze intermittenly.. so i decided to call it a night, got up in the morning ready for some ME2 only to find my xbox was now RRoD.. so..

I have had similar issues to this, first time the game froze I had a rrod, but after restarting the xbox a few times it seemed to return to normal with no issues from other games or netflix. Now I am able to play ME2 but about every twenty minutes or so it freezes and I have to restart it.

If you have the space, (and this is a big IF) install it to your hard drive. Most lockup issues have been reported to be fixed by doing this. If you 360 is getting ready to RROD, well there will be little you can do.

Okay.. so... I finally get through all the downloading-gamertagging-ea id b.s. , and now my game crashes every ten minutes. This keeps getting better all the time. Guess I'm just not ready for ME 2.The world will just have to save itself. Thanks a lot biowarea.

I have also been having it freeze and crash, but for me it started when the title update came out today. Everything was fine before, but as soon as I downloaded the title update the xbox started freezing and crashing after having it on for about 2-5 minutes at a time.

Okay..so... just like with DA:O, the Title Update breaks the game. If you did download clear the cache on your xbox HD. I cleared and refused the title update and things are running well... knock on wood..

Also installed game and running it off HD.

nevermind... froze again... back to ME1 I guess. I really expcted a lot more from biowarea.

Ah, I just finally got RROD. Guess it was just weird timing.
