Seems to work for ambush at least. I hit 9k sometimes pre-hakkon dagger.

It definitely does not work with bolt, either as giving damage and having increased.
Still I see some tendency that after ambush or flashing steel broadsides hit harder (and the opposite).

Best would be some dev explaining it how it should work.
