I'd love to spend a day in Campbell's shoes just to see what it's like. And then refuse to give them up ![]()

What are you sighing at? It's true. It's like they just want to shove it in our faces. Other than that the video was cool, but nothing of real interest

They go to work, drink coffee and discuss... things.
Experienced by every working man ever.

This is a PR and marketing strat. "Building New Worlds" may be a documentary series for ME:A. Similar to ME1, that eventually became a bonus disc with the "collectors" edition when you preordered ME1 waaay back. I actually like it, and it's working. We are talking about the video, and we are here engaging in a discussion about the video. I expect more to come, either monthly or bi-monthly.

Oh and welcome new Bioware team members!
Please don't do anything insulting to the genre.
Please keep old team members true to the heart of Mass Effect players. Some lost their way before.
Don't be "yes" men and women. Fight hard if something doesn't jive right. Your job is important. Speak up!
Thank you for all that you do!

Unfortunately, such people are just as likely to be wrong as those in authority. If not more so.

I do like that he made the comment about what it felt like to be a mass effect fan and then meet and work with the people that created mass effect. It made me think, "this dude actually cares. It isn't just a job for him".
Hopefully, most of the others feel the same way.

Argh. It's always possible.
Sorry... I'm optimistic that it won't be that way.

I think they should incorporate fan feedback.. Closed surveys, and not too much dev-to-fan / fan-to-dev communication goes on aside from Twitter and conventions.

Okay...well, it's not just possible, it's downright likely. There's no reason to think the smaller people are going to be an iota smarter just because they happen to be the little guys.

A more appropriate title to this video would be "sitting behind monitors and at boardroom tables - a day in the life of...".
But damn, how awesome would it be to have that job.
It's all well and good until you're working 80 hour work weeks during crunch. As much fun as creating living works of art must be at times, it's a hell of a job.
