More than anything, they need to address the dragon instantly raping you if you join a game in progress on FC.  Spawn and be like AAAAAah FFS Really?

I think it's time you all updated to current gen guys...

 

I must say though... On  FFXIV on PS3, you can't do any end game content like extreme modes and end game raids so even though they still support the game, you pay a subscription for content you'll never be able to beat unless you are carried.

Update why?  I don't have a good enough reason to update.  Give me some games first.  Give me a reason to.  Do it for DAMP!? LOL.  They FINALLY have a TB PS4. Ok about time and thats good.  What games do I want to get? *crickets*.  Last of Us 2 is what I'm talking about.  MGS V comes out in Sept.  It's coming out for PS3 as well.

 

I am starting to want to upgrade, but its still going to be a while.  I'm surely not going to do it because EA tells me to do it.  EA can kiss my ass.

I've noticed that since the last patch the map has been a lot more bugged, for me at least. I think in about 1/4 of the games someone ends up in narnia. It seems to happen more in PUGs then in private matches, though in private matches, for some reason, disconnects in zone 3 seem to happen about a fifth of the time.

I was a PC gamer for a while and then switched to Playstation.  Being  PS gamer I was never "allowed" to play Witcher.  I don't care to start with the third one.

 

Now I was a huge Demon's Souls fan, but the Dark Souls games while fun, weren't as good IMO.  I am kind of over those games.

 

Just for me and my taste in games...they aren't there yet.  The same for most of my friends. I have no interest in the other games these days.  Fallout was fun for a while, but the setting extremely dull.  Just a bunch of brown.

Fallout is just something you either get into or don't. I'd recommend playing FO1 & 2 for anyone actually interested in the game world and lore. If you just want to shoot & loot some mutants then fallout 3 is for you.

I never played Witcher 1 and 2... I don't feel like i missed out on anything that wasn't explained during the main campaign. Seriously, if you like Dragon Age then Witcher 3 should really be on your radar.

Yeah I watched it.  It looks bad ass.  I thought the other ones did as well though.

Fair enough, but the game looks to be a lot less of a "bunch of brown" then F3 and New Vegas were. My main complaint with those 2 games was that overly use of brown and greenish grey. Fallout 4 looks to be a lot more colourfull.

Oh yeah.  When they finally come out with the remake of FFVII I WILL be buying a PS4.  (if I haven't already)

When I came into multiplayer (PC, not console), the game would crash relentlessly when there was a lot going on, possibly why some have stated they can't play above Threatening without crashing..perilous was bad for me back then. I was running the game at ultra settings. Now I play multiplayer on medium and it's much, much smoother and I never crash when things get intense. I was playing my Virtuoso in NM last night and had no issues, even when using Power Chord. The added bonus is that I don't even miss the higher res textures. I'm killing enemies, not counting pixels on the walls.
 
Just a suggestion some may wish to try.

Game settings high-ultra = crashed in FC perilous or NM garanteed at least once per run..mostly in round 4.

Reason? Likely memory leak due to unoptimised coding in draw distance causes memory crash.

Solution? Graphics settings to medium = nil crashes in FC in perilous / NM.

There's nothing wrong with profanity; it's the intention behind the words that truly matter. Coming off as hostile though, that's definitely not a good way to promote a decent discission.

Context is everything. Profanity is appropriate in some situations, not in others.

If you're attempting to create a thread raising legitimate issues, profanity normally just makes you look like a cry baby and undermines your intentions.

Or at least that's the way it appears to me.

I'd not expect anything in the way of fixes for previous gen consoles.  Still haven't found anywhere they've confirmed that both SP and MP DLC are going exclusively PC, PS4, XB1, but since something as simple as the +50 inventory apparently isn't going out to PS3 or 360, I'd not expect any further support, regardless of how small.

 

It's a shame, but I'm not buying the game again, went last-gen to play with friends anyway, no sense in getting it to play by myself with a tiny but of new content.

Well it's not really simple... Even FFXIV inventory system is held back by previous gen because of the 512mb ram on the PS3. 

 

It's time to come to terms that with almost 10 year old consoles not being up to scratch for modern gaming.

It would have been better if they just didn't release it on last gen to begin with but I don't think they were expecting the record console sales.

 

As you can see with recent games, they have decided not to develop on PS3 and XB360.

The devs in the stream asked us to let them know if we notice a lot of slowdown in the inventory screens now that the extra 50 spaces are available. If they're worried about negatively impacting performance on current gen I can't imagine what it would've done to last gen.
