I wish you could say why, because I don't understand what bizarre situation you're referring to.
It's not too difficult to figure out! We're discussing a game that is nearing its one year anniversary, and all that we have had is a single story-based dlc to accompany it? [Extra add-ons notwithstanding] I'm not being petulant or griping over much, but that is the reality. That minimal amount of game support is also much different from the previous offerings of this franchise; and even more peculiarly we have all been reading industry sources reporting on nothing much more than idle forum speculation (in the absence of actual genuine Bioware commentary). That is what I'm referring to, and as an example over the last few days Google-ing DA:I dlc will pull up news items related to the new Inquisition Horse Armor dlc. There isn't any? I get that this is just erroneous discussion about Spoils of the Qunari by that source, but it is merely the latest example of such weirdly offbase pablum floating around about this lengthy dlc release scenario.
I understand that "something" is forthcoming, but I also wonder whether a clamp down was leveraged behind the scenes due to unforseen difficulties experienced by the company? Perhaps sometimes endlessly teasing your customer base in these instances may not be the best path to tread?
