At first I did not see the harm in MP in the game even played a little myself but now I feel the extra time spent on Multiplayer has taken away from single player

If DAMP takes away from any SP content at all, it's Mass Effect Andromeda.

DAI and DAMP aren't developed in the same studio. They are completely seperated. I would gladly like to invite you over to the DAIMP boards, and look at some of the numerous developer posts there - they even have to tweak the engine because they're working with framework created by a wholly different team.

If DAIMP has more expansions (which it doesn't, because all Destruction added was wild animals from the vanilla game, and destroyed variants of the existing levels) it is because developing content for a game free of heavy scripting, and void of any cutscenes or requirement for continuity, or elaborate writing; simply goes a lot faster.

Yet "fast", obviously, is very relative.

Heck, bring back one as a temporary companion!  LOL...though, not a romance.  A desire demon IS trouble...but at least not a spinning leaping prancing nightmare like the despair demons.  MAN I hate those guys...

And add Sandal.  Where has he gotten off to?  I thought he was headed to Orlais?

@Darkstarr11
I think my lavellan who romanced Solas will kiss him then followed by a kick in the balls. Stupid egg head how dare he?!
But seriously, I'd LOVE for all inquisitors to get to confront Solas about the post epi ending. And for the dalish ones to get extra dialogue because obviously they were brought up on BS stories about the dread wolf.

Edit:
and i miss Sandal V_V
ENCHANTMENT

go away Dagna

Yeah, that sounds about how it should go.  And I agree that Dalish Inquisitors should get extra lines.

I miss Sandal.  I don't dislike Dagna...but, you know, ENCHANTMENT!

It just feels less like DA without him.  Maybe he had to go into hiding due to Worthy?

Yeah Dagna's fine and all but I miss Sandal and his weird lines.

Agh I'm just dying to confront Solas. if the next dlc avoids him again, gona rage quit.

Their Facebook page also seems to endlessly post questionnaire type things. Right now they've got one about what you might include in the Shaperate. I've begun to suspect that the end of August is the earliest that we might see another story-based DLC (possibly tying in with the Deep Roads and/or the Qunari) with perhaps a third and final one addressing the Dread Wolf and the coronation of the new Divine dropping at the games one year anniversary. Then other than more multiplayer support, that will be all she wrote for the Inquisition.

Whether we want more or not, for the devs it will be time to move on to DA4 preparations!!

I'm guessing ME:A and SW:TOR is getting most of the manpower at the moment from Bioware.

In any case it will be a while before DA4, a couple years after ME:A at the very least, so I can see them taking their time on it, it's a long wait.

Fingers crossed really HARD any sort of dlc is coming soon. It feels like years between the release and anything approaching a decent meaty dlc, I don't mind the garment/fixture dlcs but I would like to see something from Kal Sharok and the elfy Elves (Mythals temple?). Would love to see the option to mix and match elements to make an eclectic Skyhold.

I am really hoping there do a new DLC about the Deep Roads the warden is trying to stop the calling and that's what the architect was trying to do and you could tie in sandal as well he has to be in it he predicted the breach and the coming of the Inquisitor if you go to orzammar

Here's to hoping for more SP DLC. I'm quite shocked there hasn't been more considering

Dragon Age Inquisition won game of the year in 2014.

Right now, it seems rather obvious that this new DLC is not only going to be Deep Roads, but also about Dwarves, potentially -fingers crossed- even a Thaig hub.

Additionally, the same clues make it very unlikely it is relating to an MP DLC. If anything, the MP probably does get the Deep Roads map & Darkspawn enemy faction, but all this in-depth information on dwarven culture & everyday life seems very redudant if it isn't about a story DLC.

I rather do hope the dlc is a deep roads expansion of some sort.  After that they could do one for the qunari, par vollen maybe.  I would play through again to see those.

The very last one appears to be qunari, if not Par Vollen

Witch Hunt probably is a similar concept, but I don't think things will play out the same.  Morrigan saved your life (possibly).  Solas is pretty much the reason you got a mystical mark grafted to your hand; the Divine died; Haven was destroyed; the Mage or Templars were enslaved/destroyed; Hawke/Stroud/Alistair/Loghain was trapped in the Fade and possibly died, and the Breach was created in the FIRST place.  Morrigan could be stabbed, sure, but there was a real possibility at a happy ending for her and the Warden too.  I DON'T see that happening with Solas.  If anything, this could be the anti-Witch Hunt.  If it is revealed what brought the foci in to Corypheus and the very nature of Solas, I think sparks will fly.  And then arrows, mystical bolts, and various obscenities.  Unless an Inquisitor is given the option of actually SIDING with Solas, I foresee a very dark exchange, and bloodshed.  I don't see a SINGLE companion reacting well.  Remember, Varric shot that mage through the throat the second he realized that he was going to betray Hawke.  Sera is just as likely to turn him into a pincushion.  Cassandra, and Bull aren't going to let it stand.  It WON'T end well.  I'd like to see it...if only to resolve the issue.

Of course if we DO finalize our issues with Solas, something WORSE is BOUND to happen, we all know that right?  It HAS to get worse...it's BIOWARE.

D: oh man...So conflicting. We all know Solas is responsible for all this, but I wouldnt pin him as a bad guy. The way he tells his stories, and the way he acts like a giant nerd, cant really hate the guy personally. But....thats why he makes such a good "bad guy" Aaahh the suspense is killing me, made worse by Mark Darrah's apparent definition of "soon", and later "very soon" if we dont get an announcement next week Ill....continue to be sad and lurk around the forums until we do (damn you bioware)

Just leave that character and plot a hanging chad, with no resolution? That would be pretty silly.

I don't think it's coincidence that every Dragon Age game has ended with a final battle against a power connected to the Blight.

DAO-The Archdemon

DA2-Meredith with the red lyrium idol (which we now know is corrupted lyrium)

DAI-Corypheus

The darkspawn will always be the true enemy of Thedas. Other villains may temporarily step to the forefront, but in the end, it always leads back to the Blight.

The darkspawn are fine without an AD around

I'm not sure. The elve inquisitors might react differently to Solas. On the one hand they could be like holy cow its the dread wolf. On the other hand they could hear him out and be like, well actually he's going to restore our elves to the olden days and make us good again lets side with him. so who knows.
I personally am not even mad at Solas. He did a stupid thing and pretty much cocked up the world for a while, but he is trying to do it for the greater good of the elves (I think anyway), and lets face it they live pretty badly at the moment they need some one to sort it out for them.

Which is why I DO hope he becomes the villain in the next game.  Thedas's version of Magneto.  Well, as close as we'll get.  An Anti-Villain.  A nice change up after the straight up evil of the Elder One.  It opens NEW possibilities.  I really think that being able to side with the bad guy in the end would be a great change.  No, not a 'mwa ha ha ha!' style bad guy, but someone who comes across as sympathetic.  Yes, it WOULD make the next game in the series more difficult, but I say...GOOD!  Could you imagine fighting the Inquisitor as the Dragon to the Final Boss?  Someone who you helped shape in the way of motivations and skills?  Fighting the previous PC who truly believes that they are doing the right thing?  Then watching as you have to potentially KILL them?  And Fen'Harel cradling your kill?  Asking why you slew them?  Why you killed someone that HE believes to have been honorable and of noble conviction?  That would be amazing!

OR...watching as he struck down the Inquisitor?  As he grieves at the loss of his friend?  As he struggles to excuse his actions in light of the destruction of the one individual whom he actually connected with?  That would be good story telling...if done correctly.

Complex?  YES...but worth it.

imo Solas is pretty firmly in anti-villain territory already, so I agree with all of this; any of the above would be so great. (The only relatively complex villain DA has had was Loghain. The AD, Meredith and Corypheus all come across as pretty one-note). Painful, since my Inquisitor dated him, but...only in the best way!

And Magneto is my absolute favorite so I welcome the comparison

Whenever they release a DLC, they release a patch the Monday before. If we get a patch today, we may get a DLC tomorrow. If not, maybe next week, or sometime in August.

Maker, I feel like I'm waiting for a package in the mail.

me: *Checks tracking info on post office web page* Hey, dear, it's in Kearney.

husband (three days later): Did you get your package?

me: Nope. *checks post office web page* It's still in Kearney. I could have walked there by now.

husband: You know how it goes. They're probably all standing around in a circle chanting over it or something.
