Anyone want to speculate?
Kal Sharok dwarfs? Legion of the dead? Rock wraiths/Profane...
I can't see any old god stuff coming out of this DLC though since it is available right after skyhold. Not complaining, just an observation.

Is it just me or did it appear that the female dwarf accompaning us in the video was Dagna? It did look like we were accompanied in the deep roads by a male legion of the dead member as well, but the video didn't give any hint's that I saw about what we are supposed to be looking for in the deep roads. Good teaser trailer for the fan's seeking more combat, but no real clues about the story of the DLC. Will will be interesting to see what new info this DLC will give us about Thedas, or even only about the deep roads and what inhabits them now.

Yes it did look like her, hardling is a surface dwarf so not the best dwarf to scout or the most knowledgeable

Quite significant. It's more about darkspawn than dwarves, but I'm seeing dwarven stuff, so maybe we'll learn something about the dwarves.
I think I will purchase next Friday. I hope I'm not disappointed with the dwarf content.

Maybe we will find the titans they lost

FINALLY!
A rock wraith, OGRES...I wonder how meaty it is? How much area does the DLC cover? Remember, they said they couldn't do this on last gen. Is there something new that they will be trying in this DLC possibly?
Also, this gives me hope for one more DLC. They didn't say the it was the final piece, like they did with Citadel. Fingers crossed.
Of course, I still have to wait. I don't net my monthly allowance until a week AFTER the release. Oh well, patience is a virtue.

Check out the twitter thread, there's a tweet from a dev person confirming this was not the last story DLC.

I saw genlocks and ogres. Can we see shrieks. I wonder if the devs can confirm shrieks.

At 1:34, there is something that LOOKS like it could be a shriek. Oh, and the ogres have that lovely punch-you-in-the-face/chest-until-you-die attack. GOODIE!
I always lost a mage to that during fights with Ogres. Seriously, stay AWAY from the giant flesh eating monstrosity, ya know? ![]()

The Inquisition seem to be dealing with alot of pantheons in Thedas from The Elder one then Elves to Avvar and now the Dwarves. The Qun has to be around the corner.

I see nothing wrong with that, given that the Inquisitor is the "Herald of Andraste"

The female dwarf has black hair, Dagna is a redhead, so I'd say its a new character.

I had forgotten why I had stopped bothering with bioware, this trailer was a good reminder.
See you in another 6 months when nostalgia hits again, BSN!

Just spotted this from the Song to Elgar'nan:
"Give us victory, over the Earth that shakes our cities"
The same passage ends with "Elgar'nan, help us tame the land."
So, probably a stretch, but still, given the rise of earthquakes, makes me wonder if we will be facing an enemy of the Arlathan pantheon in this DLC ??

I'm thinking more about the Ancient Warden Journal (doesn't show up in the Codex) you find by the Shimmer Stone Mine in the Western Approach that says that the Wardens were digging for an Archdemon, but had to turn back when earthquakes and tremors brought down the roof and killed 30 Wardens. Also remember that Nathaniel and others were digging near the Primordial Thaig in DA2 and wouldn't say why. Those who played Awakening may remember that Nathaniel was opposed to the idea of killing the Architect...

I thought it was because no one had gone deeper, not even the darkspawn. I remember there weren't any darkspawn in the Primeval Thaig itself.
I don't want it to be an original darkspawn. I'd rather it be a dwarven titan, and the mid-boss is an ancient rock wraith.

Maybe we'll be learning about the origins of lyrium? Or red lyrium? A dwarven titan sounds cool.
I am REALLY hoping that they are doing something new. If they are cutting off the old systems from this, there should be something game changing that they couldn't do before. Something that reshapes the game in some form. Adding the ability to customize the keeps perhaps? One can hope...
