It's actually worth grinding gold.
I'm actually getting uniques out of chests in-game; even on Feralden Castle (which is notorious for dropping commons on you prior to the update).
I'm still getting the same old stuff. The only things I need other than the hakkon weapons are the swift axe just cause I like big axes and I read somewhere of a corpse explosion staff. But I get a bunch of everything else.
I have the swift axe and the Blizzards Path Staff via store chests.

I don't have SkyWatcher cleaver if that make you feel better, got the rest though.
We'd have no reason to play for if that happened.
Y'know, I wish Dragon weapons were kept locked in Perilous dragons... I don't want Dragon weapons to start feeling like Raider swords. They were pretty much BiS a month ago and now everyone is running around with them.
No way, I have gotten like 10 skywatchers cleaver 10 bitter axes 15 savage thorns and countless dragon weapons but zero of those 2.
F*** me! I got none of those new weapons so far. Like, none of them!
Are commendation chests affected by the loot bucket thing? I swear, I don't remember the last time I got a purple out of one.

Powercreep is a real thing.
I don't see it as bad though, with the changes to drop chance - new players will have a very small chance of pulling such an item, while players that have played it for longer will have a greater chance - working as designed IMO.
I doubt I'll ever get a chance to get a Hakkon weapon, and I have no real problems with it to be honest.
Well the good thing about loot locks behind difficulty walls is it encourages players to try out harder difficulties when they think they're ready.
I know it definitely helped in my region when you'd never find a perilous match ever and as soon as Dragon weapons were introduced there were always Perilous FC lobbies.
Now Perlious is dead and it's moved onto Nightmare, but i prefer this form of progressive difficulty weapon grinds to aimless grinding for promotions and gold.
Technically the Dragon weapons in store chests should have the same drop rate as Caliban, LBoTG, Punched by the maker etc and have their drop rates increased.
I just want the gear to feel progressive and have less weapons I already have decreasing my chances to get new weapons... Especially if it's weapons I've been grinding FC for.
I get a unique from almost every chest, but i still get a ridiculous amount of doubles.
180 perilous dragon runs to farm the dragon weapons and now I get 1000 of them in chests.... wtf

Yeah, I feel your pain.
Stiiiiiiill waiting on my stamulet
Not as big a deal since I have the hakkon dagger now, but still.
It's almost too good now.
Ssssssssssh... Don't let Billy know!
I received my second blue hok ring on a weeknight... my commendation chests were actually weaker in content than 2000 gold requisition chests. :\
