Here's my 2 cents.

1. I own the game, I'll do whatever I like with it.

2. Plssing off even a part of the player base is counterproductive to business so it should be addressed out of respect.

3. A vast majority want to be powerful and without a red light you can't expect them to hold up to standards the devs haven't set.

4. I don't care about Leaderboards but if my xp is taken off me I will bin the game.

Pretty much covers it I think.

 

There seems to be a fatal flaw in your argument, one that must be addressed for your opinion on the matter.

Seems to me you are out there lobbying for cheating in a big way. If you can't beat them join them, so you say. I know who the day one cheaters were.

Now you are encouraging people to keep up by cheating, this way you feel hopeful Bioware can't come down on you. Funny for "#1" to be this disrespectful toward the game and the developers that have requested this cheat not be used.

Q.o you do know this is a video game and not real life...... standards lol..... but if thats what you have then dont complain when you get passed by, on xbox one it sems 4 out of 6 game lobbies you join are bugged.....and its usually a bunch of new players....

Here's my 2 cents. (Due to an unforeseen glitch in my statement you will have to multiply this by 5 to represent its true meaning)

I don't think I've even seen double xp lobbies in our region tbh.

 

Would be handy for the number of solo runs I have to do because no one is ever on.

This is a post in poor taste. To suggest banning someone for
1. Expressing his opinion (he has a right to his opinion)
2. Who purchased the same game as you
3. You are not authorized to police this forum, moderators do it already
4. You desire to ban someone and not others is totally out of order
5. I do not wish to see anyone banned truly. No matter how their opinions differ from mine or any others.

cant beat them join them if its that wide spread and theres going to be no action, then why sit back and let them pass you..... inaction is just as bad as action

You may do as you wish, some of do not wish to participate in something stated to be a "glitch/Bug" by BW and feel our sense of fair play is something we wish to maintain. Doing something because others are, it is self justification and doing it or not is up to each individual.
 

Also if you aren't I'm the board why do you care if prior are creating like at all? The ps3 top ten #1 is a ghost because bioware region locks So idk if he's good but other than that there's a cheater at the#9 spot who is trash. The best part is with all them stats there's only 3 maybe 4 in the top ten I consider good. Lb should have been ranked on something else not points that everyone can get. Rant over

I am sure in all platforms the glitch abusers are beginning to change the landscape whether in the leaderboard or in PUGS due to both creating glitched lobbies in public and beginning to impact the game as many more are highly promoted players.

 

Bioware, you NEED to do something. This exploit is completely poisoning our community.

Second game tonight I ended up in a cheaters lobby. The player base is so small on ps3 and I don't want involved with this. I have the name, who do I send it to?

Yes that is the glitch that is making a mess. BW stated in the forum not to abuse it, however did not state that in the general game. Seems the abuse is rampant and BW is quite and lacking in direction. That is basically the current status quo

yes, the basic BW position is if you find yourself in these rooms, finish and leave. Don't actively seek them out or stay in them once you finished the run. Here is their post


Holy.. way to blow what I said completely out of context, I guess it's my fault for trying to be lighthearted.



Ok, i'll break it down so there is no misunderstanding.



1. There is a bug, if you enter upon a game where it happens, don't feel like you've broken some kind of rule playing there. But it's probably advisable to leave the lobby if the people playing there are purposefully doing an exploit.



2. We're investigating the bug, and yes some people can reproduce it. Reproducing =/= the solution is easy.



3. EXPLOITING a known bug for gain is against the TOS, and we are in no way condoning it, and could lead to you getting banned, which would suck.



Finally, stop taking what we say out of context in order to perpetuate an argument or point of view to suit your own goals or troll the forums.

last time I checked I am still breathing; thus, real life. Standards are important. Be the change you want see. Ghandi, Medallianx? Also, your post advocates abuse of the exploit; from the number one player on xbox1 no less. You should be setting a good example for the rest of everyone to follow! Shame on you.

Lastly, if if I lose my spot on the leaderboards because I do not partake in the glitch so be it. I know I did not cheat. My character is far more important to me than several hundred promotions.

On the topic of experience and soloing:

 

Why is it we always get told that the experience and gold is evenly divided among players but I don't see an increase in either when I solo runs? If its really a divided amount in anyway why do I always get the same exp whether I solo threatening or do it with a group? The way I see it that pot I broke seems to have between 76 and 99 gold in it on a threatening match so why is my hunter only finding 19 of it when he opens the pot on his own?

well for one, your opinions and comments are irrelevant to me, as I know you really dont like me and I know you have spread lies about me in the game, when you don't even know me, you have been very hostile towards me for a very long time, and I dont know who you are and frankly don't care to get to know you after all the stuff you have done. 

 

now that that's out the way, I am neutral on the matter, the bug is wide spread, I just play dragon age like I always do, bug or no bug...

I have talked to the dev's and the matter is settled as far as I am concerned, I just make it a point not to go looking for bugged lobbies but some times (if we are going to be honest here) all there is bugged games... and it really is a pity and I hope they fix the problem ASAP.

 

maybe I could play with more honest top players if you and your friends didn't try and alienate me(unsuccessfully might I add) from the Xbox One community every chance that you got. and honestly I think this is just another attempt at that, you and the circle you run with have been trash talking me for a long time, I got to rank 1 honestly, I put in the hard work, and the time.... but I am not going to stop playing because of a bug and nor am I going to alienate any one in the xbox DAMP community it is small enough as it is.

I defiantly see your point it is very valid but I am not advocating for cheaters, the bug does accrue unforced..... I do not agree with forcing the bug, but if it happens it happens it is on the devs (b who are working hard on what is probably not an easy solution) to fix...... and its funny how your telling me to set an example as rank 1 when you have bashed me in the past seemingly for being ranked one, I find your statement to me slightly hypocritical towards me.

The exp lobbies are being created against your ToS and many people are gaining quick promotions. People like me who refuse to cheat and break the ToS feel like the prom date left at the prom. Will there be any repercussions for breaking the ToS? Thank you for your time.

we all want a fix to this problem, hell even the cheaters probably want a fix by now. however demanding repercussions for people who haven't slighted you in any way shape or form(unless you care about leaderboards THAT much) seems a little excessive and judging by all your post in this thread you seem to take this issue rather personally. Bioware is aware of the issue and are trying to fix it as we speak. just do what everyone else is doing ignore it, make your own lobbies, hell report people if it makes you feel better.
