Bioware devs, we need you to step in and issue a response. What is the ETA on when this bug is going to get fixed? The exp lobbies are being created against your ToS and many people are gaining quick promotions. People like me who refuse to cheat and break the ToS feel like the prom date left at the prom. Will there be any repercussions for breaking the ToS? Thank you for your time.

From what I can tell, the only negative effect this is having on the community is in regards to Leaderboard position.
I understand that quite a few of you have dedicated a lot of time and pride into this.
If the devs were to step in then they would have to realise that a vast majority of players are not in this position and alienating them would destroy the community.
Of my 42 DAIMP friends, only 1 is on the PS4 Leaderboard and they're 600 behind number 1.
Making any of us leave would ruin my experience regardless of reasons, especially those coded into the game.

I play on PS4 Australia and the PUG community here is VERY small. I have never found a NM pug since it started.
Of my 42 friends, maybe 12 are active daily and only about 6 are capable of Hakkon farming.
ESO took half of my friends list (I culled 15) but this exploit has not taken any yet.
It does need to be rectified by the devs as division in the community is not acceptable.
But I am yet to see any damage done to MY playing group. In fact we're all binge playing the crapp out of it.

we all want a fix to this problem, hell even the cheaters probably want a fix by now. however demanding repercussions for people who haven't slighted you in any way shape or form(unless you care about leaderboards THAT much) seems a little excessive and judging by all your post in this thread you seem to take this issue rather personally. Bioware is aware of the issue and are trying to fix it as we speak. just do what everyone else is doing ignore it, make your own lobbies, hell report people if it makes you feel better.

Not at all. Bioware's at fault.
And the few who feel they have been undermined have a rite to do so.
As for the community in general, they all have the rite to play the game the way they see fit.
Nothing going on is illegal, just alienating, and I do have a problem with that.
I have played since Jan 1st and this problem has nothing on the key glitch, ESO defections and a general lack of content. In fact if it wasn't for Luke, I wouldn't be here either.
At least this glitch doesn't STOP me from playing the game.
Perhaps you could begin providing BW with numbers of players LEAVING due to this.
Hopefully that might have some impact.

ok, so this is the road we are going to go down huh? you really do take this personally don't you. also why don't you come right out and say it instead of insinuating. trying to save face for when you are proven wrong?(be it a week or two from now) also just so nobody will forget i will post my numbers up myself in case you conveniently forget. 

 

And just so its crystal clear me and you have problems now. i would make a separate thread for keeping tabs on player promotions just for people like you if it wasn't so incredibly disrespectful. so for the time being i'll do updates in this thread.(unless it gets locked)

I don't think that would do any good. BW is very capable of detecting amount of activity through the account access and their database should be able to provide a fairly accurate snapshot. Issue is really what is happening within BW on this and their silence on this. I am sure the silence is quiet deliberate at this stage.

It means that we are strong players because we earned it the way bioware wanted us to.

Players don't have managers or coaches or tribunals suspending them.
It's simply up to us to determine our own choices.

Yesterday I played with a guy with 1000 prestige and a game later I was befriending a guy with 68 to help him out.
Weak or not, he owns the game and like it or not I can choose to treat him anyway I see fit.
In my case that's with the pleasure of introducing him to something I love.
Should he be frowned upon for maxing out all of his characters so he can finally play them as intended? (he didn't promote)
I too have put an enormous amount of work into this game and I'm happy with my situation and will continue to play it as I see fit.
Blame the community for something that is in the code and the devs are yet to address all you want.
We all make our own choices.

Edit: The reality is that the gaming community should not be held accountable for Bioware's management of this issue.
