BioWare, if we have synthetic team members -- which I do not have a problem with -- can one of them be a trolling droid who uses logic to screw with everyone? I am fine with an A.I. chick who wants humanity -- bring back EDI if you want -- but I also want a badass funny synthetic guy too.

I'll just call this guy Tr-011

Example 1...

Alien: I am hiding under the covers, I am afraid of the dark.

Tr-011: Why? It is dark under there, too. Foolish organic.

Example 2...

Tr-011: All you organics are perfect squishy meat shields me to use during combat, and great distractions for the enemies while I take them out.

Alien: Thanks for making us feel like mortal sacks of meat, Tr-011.

Example 3

Tr-011: You speak of good morality, but you abandoned your fellow humans to giant robot killing machines... am I rubbing off on you?

Human: (sigh) hello to you to, Tr-011.

If we're having any Terminator providing the voice, Robert Patrick hands down.

How about one that performs the information/ data processing duties that AIs are designed for without issue, and doesn't have an at best superfluous and at worst counterproductive personality simulation subroutine? All I can ever think of with such "characters" is why a programmer would waste so much time and effort on such a useless feature fot an AI to have.

Failing that, HK-47 is still the best artificially intelligent companion Bioware has written. No pinnochio syndrome or questions of existence that should be pointless to it, and no desire to be anything more than what it was designed for. No danger of ever malfunctioning, going rouge and therby removing all reason for the player not to deactivate it, and humour heuristics that are actually funny, instead of cringeworthy. Use it as a template instead of writing space pinnochio.

Dual wielding plasma rifles is mandatory.

Yes. I hope we have one because as the Catalyst foretold: our children will create synthetics. So, I'd like to see it looking completely different than the crude Geth. Maybe with a slick human aesthetic (indicative of the humans being at fault for this go-around at Artificial Intelligence). And then I'd like it to turn against our crew due to the age-old habit of subjugation, again vindicating the Catalyst in its claim that the chaos would come back, and that we (organics and synthetics) have a fundamental difference in our nature that prevents us from coexisting peacefully. Think of the tone of such a plot point comparative to the Collectors boarding the SR-2 and abducting the crew. "Taken by surprise-but really should've seen it coming" type stuff. Nothing endgame material or completely narrative-altering. But a nice little bit of excitement 2/3rd's through the journey. Or they can branch it out and make its rebelliousness or lack there of be based upon how you treat it throughout the game

Or just disregard all that and go with Christopher Nolan's approach to TARS and CASE in Interstellar. He didn't want them to be personified. He wanted them to be designed to look like inanimate objects. He didn't even refer to them as robots. That philosophy could fit in a post ME3 setting, while organics still rely on machines for certain tasks, they make an effort to prevent these objects from being perceived as living beings.

Oh, and with the new synthetic "squadmate" can we also have a working, interactive airlock to throw them out of? We already had a similar feature in ME2 with Zaeed and the compactor. Whiny toasters aren't really that different from space trash so it's basically the same thing, and I've just the crewman in mind to be the ranking airlock operator.

Can't we just have a space-time continuum (or whatever you call it) that allows HK-47 to be apart of our squad? I'd be fine with that, but only if the original VA returns. I hate it when characters get recast.

I'd like not to have synthetic squadmates. ME1 worked fine without them. ME2 too, if you don't activate Legion.
