Yes I know there's a thread for what you are listening to  but this is the thread for those songs that you hear and you can't stop playing them....

I'll start with this from Lenka

I had to find it, I obsessed over it for a week after hearing it on a DVD.....

So here it is complete with bonus illuminati......  Check the comments

There's a lot. But the last few weeks I've been listening to:

GO by The Chemical Brothers (feat. Q-Tip)

Fluffy and Giant Peach by Wolf Alice

And

Politicians In My Eyes by Death (not the metal band. The proto-punk/rock'n'roll band)

You get a like for at least knowing the metal band. :D

I'll listen to that other one.

edit: Oh yeah, I like it. Really tight, like Gang of Four.

That entire album is rad AF. It's a shame David (lead singer) never got to see their music discovered. But it is now and the remaining two brothers have started the band up again.

They have a documentary called A Band Called Death. It may be on Netflix, I know it's on Amazon Prime. Highly recommend it.

I love Fever Ray. I hope Karin releases some more work, now that The Knife has be put on an indefinite hiatus.

It's actually one of the few songs by them that I can actually stand. Whenever I play as the Norse in CK2 I have to have the song playing in the background.

Another one I've been listening to quite a bit lately.

Open Eye Signal by Jon Hopkins

And also touching back on Wolf Alice. I've pretty much been listening My Love Is Cool once a week. That album has solidified it's spot on my all time favorites. So good!

There's a lot of stuff on that list, although songs by Frank Klepacki or Gavin Dunne/Miracle of Sound is usually a good bet for me.

The ironic thing about the Illuminati eye symbol is that it's actually the Eye of Providence, aka the eye of God and therefore a religious symbol. It's like the upside down cross in a way, that too is a religious symbol: it's the cross of St Peter which symbolizes unworthiness to Christ. The funny is that these music videos use these symbols thinking it's edgy whilst not understanding the symbolism's history.

I'm not worried about the symbols.

I am AMUSED by the morons that yell "Illuminati" whenever an eye or triangle pops up.

I know you're not worried, I was just explaining the irony for anyone who uses these symbol as if they're making some sort of rebellious statement by doing so. Now it's just a trend that all these famous people are jumping on, throwing away whatever individuality they had to be part of the crowd and I thought you only got that from the regular people of day to day society, now even the celebrities act like sheep of one another.

Also half of the illuminati comments nowadays seem to be a meme "illuminati confirmed" mocking all this nonsense. If there is a real secret society under that name still then they haven't done a real good job of keep themselves and their plans for world domination hidden now have they?
