Is there any noticeable improvement over Windows 7? I'm running Windows 7 and have heard some good things about DAI and Windows 10 but wanted some solid info from you guys.

I don't think we can get a decent performance match until all our device drivers have been updated for W10. I expect those with modern-ish graphics cards to see a noticable performance over W7, but not so much over W8.1. There is already a performance gain from using 8.1 over 7 and I can't see why that wouldn't still be there.

I'm reading that people are having issues with nvidia drivers and Windows 10. might pay to wait a week or two and learn from the experiences of others.
I'm going to make system backup that I can roll back too if needs be. Should have a good system backup anyway really.

Yes, big problems with windows 10 driver updates. They are forced and cannot be stopped. I have spent hours fixing my install after bad and incorrect drivers have been installed in the background. As for how DA:I looks, all games I have played look gorgeous when run on win 10, they also run smooth and load much faster.
I would recommend holding off upgrading though, until they do a u-turn on the forced drivers. They have been told over and over about this on the insider hub, but take no notice.

If you're an insider you should know this. 
As for the question in hand: Short answer, yes. The game Engine supports DX11.2 that's only available on Windows 8.1 and 10. I'm more interested in if the game will get WDDM 2.0 support in the future though. Probably no because it takes time and Resources to implement. Regardless I would be pleasantly surprised if it did.

I simply corrected your first statement about them not listening nor having an option to turn off forced updates, which they do, or more specifically hide them. No need to get pissy on me because it doesn't work correctly on a RTM candidate. Wait until it's released and base judgement then.

And Windows 10 apparently includes XBOX software, allowing you to play XBOX games on your windows PC. So shouldn't this solve a lot of people's problems with regards to the cancellation of DLC support for last gen consoles? If you are on this forum, you may very well have a PC that can upgrade to windows 10, essentially getting you an xbox one for free. Then you can just wait till DA:I is on sale or buy the game again full price...

I think they are concerned with rebuying it in the first place. Considering they probably paid the full price for Last Gen. I'm glad I did not but I understand their pain.

Not necessarily... people buy console games because they want to play on the console, not on their PC. DAI requires a pretty decent PC and someone's laptop that they use for school or work might not cut it.

I thought that the app just streamed the game being played on your console to your PC? Don't you still need the console and game to play it on the Windows 10 Xbox One app?

I'd say I'm getting great FPS, but can't really say that because I have a 980 Ti SC lol. That was before Windows 10, but ever since upgrading to it, oh man.
Inquisition's load times are fast (The load times before Windows 10 may as well of been Skyrim's loading times on Console), everything is running smoother, if thats even possible on my rig, but yeah, Windows 10 has helped a lot.

I'm not sure if you need Gold. My guess would be no, because: No, you can't stream Xbox games across the WWW. It only works on your LAN.

Sadly with my pair of ati CF 290's FPS drop is gigantic with the latest ati driver on windows 10.
Didn't have time to try other drivers yet or that it will make any difference because of dx12.

I've been testing Windows 10 since it came out as a preview and now I have the real deal. The game works fine! We had one update that stopped DAI from loading, but they fixed it a few builds back. I find it runs a bit smoother but nothing extremely drastic has changed from what I've seen.
