Of what quality do you currently expect ME:A to be in its final state?

Now if it goes back to having a good storyline without big dissapointing moments I'll be happy with it. For example ME2's problems, even Shep's death don't bother me. ME3's pinochio syndrome, or oversympathising with the asari do.
What I'm saying is that With Bioware I'm not that hard to please, but I'm still afraid, since DA:I for me was worse than ME3 overall and the first game of the company that I've played to dissapint me.
So I rate MEA: fingers crossed/10

Straight up, I think they fucked up the endings of ME3 so much that I think it may have permanently screwed up the series. Even with the move to Andromeda. I hope to be pleasantly surprised.

I think it's gonna be a 6/10 game on my scale.
Examples of other games I consider to be 6/10-ish
Dragon Age Inquisition
inFamous Second Son
Mario & Luigi Dream Team Bros
Beyond Two Souls
Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time
Borderlands
We basically know nothing, but whatever. What does your stomach-feeling tell you?
You gave Borderlands a 6? I sure hope you aren't talking about the original.

No idea. I'll have to see some content first.
For now, I'll just stick to the tried and true "wait and see" approach.

I am playing the ME series again at the moment for the umpteenth time....., I also have over 3000hrs on Multi-player and the ending of ME3 didn't bother me that much...., yes it could of beem better...., it also could of been worse, so I am hoping for another "new" trilogy with MEA which I hope would be right up there with the first 3.
I think it will be between an 8 to a 10..., as long as they learn by there mistakes.

Cheers

Not enough data available.
It is made by BioWare Montreal, right? They're a rather new studio, and I have to admit that I don't know for certain what they've produced before (ME3 multiplayer?), so I find it hard to make a guess.
If they did make ME3 multiplayer, I'll just say this: guys, not one button for run/cover/revive again.

Sure am. It's in the same league as DAI in terms of grinding and farming and time wasting in comparison to how much fun you'll have.
It had an appealing vibe, but when I was done with it, I felt it had way overstayed its welcome.

Yep, Mike as the Artistic Director is a FAIL but hey, it's not all bad news. He is a WINNER in the BS department.
ME:A is a new game in a new setting. I wish all the best to Mac Walters et al to take this opportunity and come up with an engaging storyline. Protagonist and characters to bond together with LI's that is NOT like in DAI... ie: a quest. Add a good main story arc, good playable levels, good sidequests, living frontier type settlements with NPCs that move out of your way, no humping the rocky terraing like a Hare, no bloody repeating dialogue as you pass by a NPC, walking, running and idle animations that make sense (I don't mind some female hip movements) and exploration that avoids grinding for the purpose of gathering "Elf Root".
Oh and game controls designed for the desktop keyboard and mouse. Oh, and the ability to name your save. Oh again, a good CC with some real hair options.

How can you tell what the game is going to be like when we haven't seen anything from the game? You are basing what a game will be like on a game that was developed by a completely different team from a completely different IP.

I enjoyed ME3 enough to put hundreds of hours into it and not regret one of them (I do count MP into that). So as long as it is not worse than ME3 I'll enjoy it.

I 've enjoyed all 3 enough for that and I still enjoy ploughing through the games.

I expect the shooting mechanics will continue to improve, but they'll still be clunky compared to other cover-shooters on the market. I expect yet another world-eating threat, seeing as how Bioware doesn't know any other kind. I expect the ending to be relatively abrupt, as almost every Bioware ending is. Meaning, no playable epilogue, no cinematic telling of the aftermath, just a quick 60 second clip of us surviving the splosion and making our getaway. Roll credits.

I have to say i am really anxious about the game. So my rating is anxiety 7/10. Not as high as my anxiety for the FF7-remake, but similar, because there is so much we don't know. And all the rumors and leakes make me feel more nervous.
I really loved all 3 ME- games very much, every part had features i loved and some things that i wanna forget. And DA:I as pattern - ok but not exactly like it. I had the feeling that game missed so much of its potential, was a bit rushed and unpolished.
I am so nervous, to say the truth. Especially for the story progress and (side) quest design (Will there be plot holes? Will the story be nice but lacking the feel of the old ME-stories? How will the pathfinder evolve in the story - will it be interesting or the usual? Will there be predictable plot twists & conflicts? Will the companions be stereotypes? Will the romances be well developed?). Yeah, i know it is BW and i know story telling is good, but i hope they will concentrate and try to surprise us with a exciting, fresh and well thought out story, that we don't know from other games.
Then other things like the cc, the tech in general & combat controls that must thought out well (will there be annoying bugs, slow performance because of the high but fuzzy graphics, clunky controls - especially the keyboard controls - hell ME has shooting elements. If i am forced to shoot with controller, i'll turn whole areas in cheese full of holes, kill myself by accident, but will never hit the enemy and will get killed in under 10 seconds because the camera will show the sky, the butt of my pathfinder or the street in zoom xD.)
Ok now my anxiety is 8/10 because i think about all the things that could be nice with a neat implementation or could fail so miserably. >.<.
Time for a relaxing cup of tea *-* So long, good evening. Sorry for possible grammar issues or spelling errors.

Every mass effect game has rocked overall even if they might have a couple glaring issues. We have nothing on meA except a cinematic trailer which just showed a few planets which may or may not be in the game.
What does this all mean. Divide by zero out of 10.

I expect Polygon's game of the year featuring more non-hetero romances than in any previous game.
I want much more.

I expect it to be unplayable on PC with console menus, inventories and interface... 3/10 (just like DA:I)
and mind you. I'm talking about game play only.
Story of ME is excellent (from start 'till almost the end) so high hopes for good story again.
But in my books BioWare went from good ones to average so I don't expect too much right now.

In principle, I agree with you.
However, there is the need to remind the Directors and Producers of past errors. I believe it's a helpful tool to keep them focused on the fact that all three hardware platforms are in play. Plus, that the input game controls are different and must be coded to take advantage of their features and range of control..... mouse re-mapping comes to mind.

Unlike the majority of bandwagoners, I was merely disappointed by the ending, instead of turned into a raving, hateful lunatic that ignored the rest of the game. If they avoid fetch-quests, it'll come out to around 8 (ME2 was an 8 for me. DAI is a 7)
