In principle, I agree with you.
However, there is the need to remind the Directors and Producers of past errors. I believe it's a helpful tool to keep them focused on the fact that all three hardware platforms are in play. Plus, that the input game controls are different and must be coded to take advantage of their features and range of control..... mouse re-mapping comes to mind.
Nothing wrong to let them know what you like and dislike about past games and what you might want to see changed or included, but giving the game a score out of 10 before any real information is out there just doesn't seem to be constructive.
