Are you guys just ________ or what? im sick of anticipating controller support after each update only to see that sad, limp, pathetic techno-drivel excuse about xinput and the lock icon over the option bar. WHY DOES EVERY OTHER GAME I HAVE WORK WITH MY PC CONTROLLERS? Steelhead, Logitech (dual mode 310! now what?!) and XBOX for Windows pc controllers ALL WORK with Witcher 3, et al. Explain that to yourselves.

You crippled the game design to cater to your new sweetheart console constituents' controllers and deny PC users the option to use thier controllers at all. So all I have is your ragged, sorry-ass, gimped m/kb option. Its been so long since Ive played that Ive forgotten the storyline!!

Fix this NOW!

Thats my Fedback & Suggestions.

Don't know what you are on about, but people have been using 360 controllers to play this game on PC since release.

Go into options>controls, first option on the very top is KB/Mouse or Controller.

My Xbox 360 controller works fine, OP. They implemented the control scheme options incredibly lousily (e.g. having to completely exit and restart the game to switch control schemes), but the gamepads still work fine. Do as the others suggested and look in the options to switch control schemes.

I'm just amazed it took Bioware this long to even implement gamepad support for PC versions of their games. They're well beyond fashionably late to that party.

Seems to work fine for me (although I prefer m&k). I assume you have correct driver installed. Don't forget you have to have it plugged in before you launch the game or it doesn't detect it.

I think it's you OP

Are you sure you are launching the game with the profile?

Lol this thread. This game was designed with playing with a controller in mind, even on PC.

umm... Since Op says that every other game he has works with his controller... okay I know this may sound silly but... I remember that:

unlike TW3, DAI requires you to choose to use the controller from the main menu and once you have selected it. It does not automatically switch controls like TW3. And you have to do it at the main menu.

It's a shame I can't like this comment more. Exactly my thoughts.
