This is my idea for a new shape-shifter character based partially on comic characters Mystique and Rogue.

The character has the use any weapon available to other classes. The character can any skills (including instant-casting Virutoso skills) or passives.

The character can wear any armor.

2 OP Yo?

Penalties:
1. 10 % speed reduction for light armor. 20% for medium armor. 30% for heavy armor. No penalty to AC.

2. 25% penalty to cooldowns.

3. 15% penalty to weapons damage.

4. 10% penalty to passives duration time or damage.

Can you think of anything else? Leave a comment below.

I'd rather have Morrigan. Any new characters would be welcome though.

Edit: Chameleon or Jack-Of-All-Trades would sound better though

A Druid Healer/Buff class.

Elemental resistance

Cure wounds

Animal Summoning

BarkSkin

Entangle

like on Baldur's gate.

Baldur's Gate 2..... still the best game ever made.

Also shapeshifter is a subclass of the original Druid class.

I'm hoping for these classes:
Mabari as a warrior type
Shapeshifter as a mage type
Ranger (summons pets) for a rogue type

Like this too.. was attracted to Morrigans character in original DA and want to erm ...play her again..as shapeshifter.

Luv Malbari but try pushing off a 75Kg version of one thats deliberatly using her weight advantage to pin you down on the couch in order to divy out a barrage of affectionate face licking during round 4 of a NM run...

Still would be fun to see Malbari in the game again..

Being able to either be a Mabari or playing as Morrigan shapeshifting into a bear or spider again would be fantastic haha.

Jeez lmao, that dogs heavier than a lot of people.

I remember Luke saying that they couldn't have the Mabari be an actual, playable character due to animation issues (this was during the Friday stream). I think the most likely possibility would be for a class - like a Tamer - to be able to call the Mabari out as a skill; with some passives to boost the Mabari's defenses, utility, and attack strength.

Apologies... perhaps a soothing facial of dog saliva would ease your suffering?
