Well, I've decided to give it a break for some time... 5 months ago. Now I've downloaded the game again to see if some certain things got better over time. I hope some did :/

So this post is going to have my sequential thoughts on the game process from the very start, counting that I've made my peace with some certain, well, let it be called 'flaws of the game'. I like to put it mildly for now.

Btw, how're you doing here folks? Missed you old bunch a bit.

Spoiler

Verdict for now: Inquisition never changes.

P.S. For now DA:I plays just like a puritan version of Tera Online. Which is, you know, sad.

Long time no see.

I wish you well on your journey of reconnecting with the game. I took a long break from the game myself and began to play it again. I'm actually enjoying it more than previous playthroughs.

There is a new story based DLC content that will be released soon, rumour has it. Hopefully it will improve the game and resolve a few issues.

I've seen the first story-based DLC first-handed so I have my skepticism here... But, who knows? Maybe we'll see something good this time.

As for the reconnecting with the game - I have low expectations this time and I'm sort of enjoying the game, yes. That 'could be worse' thought somewhere deep in my mind really helps.

Hope you're doing fine aswell :)

5. Fire on the snowy surfaces? Please, tell those guys in level design department that snow/ice is just another form of water, and water is used for centuries now to extinguish fires.

If by the first boss you mean the pride demon at the breach then you're not paying attention to what Cassandra and I think Varric (maybe... I haven't done that battle recently) tell you. You've got to drop back every time the rift is able to be used and hit it. That is why you've got the green glowy mark on your hand. If the pride demon has guard up then hitting the rift will strip that guard off entirely and stunlock the demon for a short period. It also causes the demon damage every time, whether it has guard or not. Sure, it's not the easiest fight but it's definitely not OP. You've just got to think and use a bit of strategy.

I've beaten the game TWICE, thank you.

It isn't about me and my problems with passing through. It is about newcomers to both the series and the genre.
