Looking for the fastest mount (are they all the same speed?) that will last the longest in a hail of arrows before throwing its rider, in the early game.

 

I assume the Deth Nug is the toughest, but that cost 10,000 gold, too expensive for early game.

Mounts don't have stats like they do in, say, Red Dead Redemption. They all have the same speed and don't possess any other unique functions from one another.

Mounts are the fastest way to travel across the land. If your mount is attacked and runs out of health, you will be thrown off.

Different mounts can take different amounts of damage before you are thrown.
