Hello, so this has been asked a ton of times but I'm still not clear on this.

 

I had a fling with Allers, after a long while Liara told me she discovered it and sounded like we had broken up. This happened after all the love promises, living in the same apartment and so on.

 

I checked with Gib Save Editor and the Liara romance flag is still on, so I was wondering, is everything ok? Will the relationship stay on or do I need to do something with the Gib Editor to get her back?

 

Please help me, I can't lose my Liara!

If you have a fling with Allers after locking in Liara, it won't do anything to the romance.

Ahahaha! No, everything is not OK. You cheated on her, she found out, got angry, and called it off.

 

I would ask if Allers was really worth it, but, you only lost Liara, so it is not really a big deal anyway.

I am not sure about the timing, since I haven't played for months because of work. My question is quite technical, is there any way to undo the damage using the Save Editor?

Not a big deal? It's a huge deal! But I didn't mean to ask if cheating's ok, what I meant is, since the romance flag is still on, is the romance still on or do I need to do something with the save game editor to make it work again?

Liara always finds out about Allers and breaks off the romance, if I recall correctly, no other romance option finds out and they continue as normal. It is extremely creepy because the inference by the writers is that Liara has bugged Shepard's cabin and is recording and watching their every move.

Seems that the bugs the old Shadow Broker planted are still there. He had video feeds of the crew and their email, chat logs, online history etc. Still not okay to use it.

Okay, you fixed it with the editor and all, but it's kind of cheating by having your cake and eat it too.  If your character cheats with Allers in the game, you have to be thinking that it might have the consequence of Liara breaking up with you.  This is an rpg after all.

Yeah, I know, but that was not the point of my thread. The point was, how do I fix it? If I cheated on my wife and I asked a friend "How do I fix this?", I'd expect him to help me without being judgemental.

 

The main reason anyway is, I wanted to experience most romances I found interesting (namely, lesbian romances) without playing the game more than once, since I have started playing 3 years ago and work allows me to play about a week a year.

Yeah, I know, but that was not the point of my thread. The point was, how do I fix it? If I cheated on my wife and I asked a friend "How do I fix this?", I'd expect him to help me without being judgemental.

 

 

Yeah lol, but I think an accurate comparison between editing the save game in your game and asking your friend for help in RL, would be if your friend was a neurosurgeon and his solution would be to perform a memory wipe on your wife.

You are not well educated, and you use preconstructed clichées built for sheepy simpletons, like "OP", "fail" and "GTFO". Anyway, the more hate I see towards Allers, the happier I get for having a go at her. I've never romanced anyone in real life who looks even remotely as good as the actress playing Allers, anyway.

Liara is not much of an improvement over Allers. She might not even be an improvement at all. She is homely, and her face is pretty flat and square-shaped. Just look at the pictures you posted. Allers is looking straight into the proverbial camera. Liara's mug is at an angle so as to make her look less unflattering.

 

Liara does not even have the same face between any two games. You would think BioWare would be supportive of their golden girl, but nope, even they were not satisfied by her look enough to keep it consistent.

 

And what's with the eyebrows? Asari do not have hair. Only in-game explanation is she got those lines tattooed on.

 

Google: "Liara no eyebrows." Yeah, that a nice look right there! 

 

 

Truth is, mordoki, I was only waiting to call you out like I did before sending you to Ignore. The Roast of Liara was just a nice bonus (thanks for that). Now that that's been taken care of...
