Google: "Liara no eyebrows." Yeah, that a nice look right there!
That's horrifying. Why would you do that to me.

You are not well educated, and you use preconstructed clichées built for sheepy simpletons, like "OP", "fail" and "GTFO". Anyway, the more hate I see towards Allers, the happier I get for having a go at her. I've never romanced anyone in real life who looks even remotely as good as the actress playing Allers, anyway.
I can't believe my response got such a rise out of you.
Stay here, you'll love the BSN!
And what's with the eyebrows? Asari do not have hair. Only in-game explanation is she got those lines tattooed on.

English is not my mother language, so I actually have no idea what BSN means. Guess it's another sleazy malicious attack. After all, you're God, and God is baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaddddddddd.
I love al the ruckus, but I hope you're aware there's not a single person on this forum who will ever date a female even remotely as beautiful as any of the actresses used to mould ME characters. There may be ones who believe they did, do or will do, though. Those are the dangerous ones.

But I'm still God.
Do you do this for all Anglophones if you don't understand them? That might say more about your personality (and its problems) than me and my choice of words and acronyms.
Instead of attacking me and calling me uneducated, you could just ask for context. Just saying.

That's a pretty unfair assumption (and not the least bit entirely subjective, if we limit ourselves to your ideal beauty). I can't speak for others, but I know several of our female posters here who look as amazing as several models and actresses. I used to date a girl who was on the cover of Marie Claire.
So yeah, I think that not only is your attitude, but your opinion at this point completely unjustified.

I hope you can see I usually don't need to ask for context when speaking to Anglophones: I just didn't understand the BSN acronym, I think I understood the others and the context, too. Doesn't GTFO mean get the f**k out? That's worse than calling someone not well educated. I know it was used as kind of an in-joke because everybody hates this Allers character (which, by my nature, forces me to defend her). But I probably misused the word "educated", because it's similar to "educato" which in my language is the opposite of rude. So, point is, I don't like rude words. Also, I don't like the way some verbal expressions spread themselves over the web and everybody starts using them. Like "Fail", "Big fail". I think mass culture, galloping unbridled now that the web spreads everything like a virus, is destroying all languages. Mine (italian) is getting raped more and more each passing day. Anyway, my first message was much more sarcastic than a real attack. The second was purely ironic. This third one, this is sincere. Next one, who knows? Anyway, my personality has tons of problems, of that you can be certain.

I know, but not all unfair assumptions are to be taken seriously. I was just trying to defend every woman in the cast, as is my nature.

BSN is the acronym for Bioware Social Network.
No one is saying that Jessica Chobot isn't pretty.
You seem to be viewing things along the lines of 'hate for Diana Allers = calling her actress ugly'.
While I personally don't view her as that attractive, and I find her professional credentials to be rather lacking (it's been heavily suggested that the reason BW even put her in the game was for cronyism from IGN, and by all accounts, she's famous because she licked a PSP), she isn't altogether the root of the problem.
However, there are a lot of problems with her character in the game. Many of them are quite valid:
1) First and foremost, they really didn't give her any voicing coaching, and it shows. Jessica Chobot is not a voice actress. I don't know how her Italian dubs worked, but in English, she came off as very static and non-emotive. Especially considering her role, she needed to be much more capable and able of displaying her emotions. They would have done much better to use a real reporter, one who is able to emote and get the point across in a way that would much better suit the story. They could have easily have done it. And hell, that's not to say that Chobot couldn't have done it. I've seen her on IGN. Despite my opinion to the contrary, she is more than just eye candy; if she weren't, she wouldn't have lasted as long as she did on IGN. She would have been up to the job if she was given better direction. But still, I think a real reporter or correspondent would have been more interesting.
2) She wasn't well designed, technically. This comes into the attractiveness bit; her face reeks of uncanny valley, and that's likely because it wasn't scanned all that well. People aren't kidding when they say that Allers looks like a plastic barbie doll left out in the sun too long. That's not a knock on Chobot's actual attractiveness, it's a knock on the Animation and CGI department at BW. They made her look more like Snooki or some other miscellaneous orange creature that crawled out of 'Jersey Shore'.
3) She replaced other characters who would have easily fit the role better, and didn't bring anything to the table with her appearance to make up for that. She isn't as perky as Emily Wong, or as challenging as Al-Jilani. She has no personality that makes her unique, as a character, just a badly imaged face over a rather unfortunate outfit with a voice that isn't acted well. Thus, not only is she seen as a poor addition to the game, she replaced other more established characters that fans have already stated were preferred.
4) She was a missed opportunity. I remember in promotional material, they were focusing quite heavily on Allers, Chobot, and what her role in the game was supposed to be (This is where the IGN cronyism comes into play). She was supposed to represent the 'human' element, the representation of the common people, non-combatants, and civilians of humanity and how they looked at the war, the Reapers, and Shepard. She was the voice of that element, a reminder to Shepard of the civilian/human element that's at stake (whether you choose to care about that or not is up to you as the player character). They made her role out to be as the intrepid reporter who risks her life on the front to show people what we're up against and what Shepard is doing to combat it. This ties into the first point. Using a real war correspondent would have been much better for getting that emotion and narrative across. Someone who brings a fresh perspective to the war. She didn't need to be a hotheaded soldier or cool, logical operative like Ashley or Miranda. She could have been more of the brave civilian who, while out of her element on the battlefield and certainly not able to handle the emotional and psychological issues that the Reapers and their extermination bring to the table, she's still willing to stand up and try to help in her own way. And that wasn't what we got. What we got was a static, empty, character that's more evocative of scenery than as an actor with a presence. She doesn't do anything of much importance, she doesn't say anything of much importance, and her bare appearance in the story presents itself more as optional auto-dialogue over less than pertinent things than an integral perspective of the war from a non-combatant. She's a poor interpretation of a rather useful archetype that could have fit very well in the story and universe (and indeed has in some circumstances).
Like many other things in ME3, she was a terrible execution of good concept. I like the idea behind Allers, but I don't like how it was portrayed or written. And not to make a call on others ideas, but in general, that's how everybody else feels about her as well.

I usually play games in English because Italian dubs and adaptations are horripilant, so I can see she's not well trained as a voice actress. And you made a whole lot of valid points and explanations which I didn't even get in such detail the last time I was fired.
She's probably not very talented at what she does, like 99.999% of the people on the planet.
But anyway I still feel the urge to defend people, even when they're rightfully criticized. Unless they're Hitler or eat babies for breakfast, at least.
That's a lot of not-very-talented-people. I for one don't think I'm not-very-talented at what I do and what I'm good at.
Why defend them? If they're being rightfully criticized, it doesn't help to coddle them or make them feel good.
Sometimes, hurting feelings is the best way to get people to grow. That might just be the military in me.

Neither do I, but we may both be wrong, who knows.
I like to coddle I guess. I also don't think people can grow much.
Don't personally have any military background: my father had a hell of one, fought in Russia in World War 2, all I got are his stories.
The save editor that I use doesn't have a option for Allers romance to uncheck. So it might depend on what editor you have.

Neither did mine, and I think it's the same. I found a file online adding more options though, or, to put it better, correctly identifying many unnamed flags already present in the editor. Got to the endgame just fine with the full Liara romance on, so I guess it worked.
Believe it or not, I started this game on March the 23rd 2013, finished it today. Guess work and age get in the way of gaming after a while...
Hello, so this has been asked a ton of times but I'm still not clear on this.
I had a fling with Allers, after a long while Liara told me she discovered it and sounded like we had broken up. This happened after all the love promises, living in the same apartment and so on.
I checked with Gib Save Editor and the Liara romance flag is still on, so I was wondering, is everything ok? Will the relationship stay on or do I need to do something with the Gib Editor to get her back?
Please help me, I can't lose my Liara!

Deadpool: "Take it form me, having more then one squeeze is way more fun."
I keep romancing Liara and it's just so... fulfilling.
Anyway you cheated on the hottest, most badass information broker. So that's neat.
I didn't know you could romance the Yahg.
'course you can, and don't make me start about all those hidden appendages...
I didn't know you could romance the Yahg.
HAHAHA you made me actually lol
She's the shadow broker, so she'll find out (that's only thing she finds out anyway).

Yeah, she totally didn't find out about the Ardat-Yakshi monastary thing. Or the Crucible.
HAHAHA you made me actually lol
And I stayed in character, too. Batarians highly value the number of eyes one posesses. Yahgs have so very many.~

LOL, 'actress', she's not a professional voice actor nor is she an actor fullstop. She's an IGN employee who was put in the game in order to shill good reviews from IGN. Funnily enough GamerGate had nothing to say about this conflict of interest.
