My dalish inquisitor is romancing Solas, It's right before 'What Pride Had Wrought', but his card hasn't change yet. I had a dance with him at the winter palace and already done his companion quest, but still no change. And so far he doesn't have any extra dialogue option like other romanced characters(I think Bull and Cullen have kissing option). I'm just wondering did I do something wrong.

Don't worry, it doesn't change until the final romance scene after you finish What Pride Had Wrought.

Solas has little romance dialogue because his was the last one written when DAI was pushed back another year.

awww, thank you! It's a bit shock to me that he was the last one written. I mean think about who he really is! It would have been nice to have some more dialogue option anyway.

Yeah, it would have. Or even a kiss any time option. :D

Because of who he is, he never should have been a romance option in the first place.

That's actually one of the main reason that makes him so interesting to me as a romance option, all the angst. But I think I get your point.

That one is up to you. Romance plays out the same no matter what you decide.

I had always made my inquisitor drink it. Solas would hate it if my inquisitor drank it this time but I'm not sure about Morrigan getting the boon. So it's just the same whoever drank the well? What was your choice?

So far, it plays out the same. Don't know if we'll see the consequences of that one. Personally, I didn't drink.

thank you! I planed to see what would happen if I romanced Solas after my first playthrough. I mean it's just so huge.. I hope to see somewhat related story in future dlc.

Initially I didn't drink with a romanced Solas because I was very much guided by him and if he didn't want to drink, I guessed it was a bad idea.   However, in view of what happened later, I went back and drank because despite what he says, he didn't actually ask me not to (apparently PW "forgot" to write the dialogue for that) and he did seem dead against Morrigan doing so.    Also as a Dalish mage, I had been trained to be a Keeper and it seemed to me that drinking from the Well would be consistent with our traditions.   It didn't make any difference to anything else he said to me.

The tarot does change straight after our final romance scene.   Because it is so different from the non-romanced one, it does suggest that the romance has had some sort of effect on him.

I'd say drink.  Lavellan is a Dalish elf and the Well is a chance to gain the type of knowledge the Dalish have always been seeking.

Solas does in fact have a Romance Tarot card but sometimes, as in my current play-through, it doesn't show up. I suspect it is a bug. The first time I romanced Solas it showed up immediately.

Solas initially Disapproves if you drink from the Well, but you can more than make up for that in the follow-up conversation back at Skyhold.

Coincidentally, that's true of all the followers (except a romanced Blackwall). If you drink from the Well, the followup dialogues give you the opportunity to regain the approval points you lost. The reverse is not true: if you let Morrigan drink and folks disapprove, you're going to be stuck with their disapproval unless you have unfinished fetch quests to bring their approval back up.
