As much as I prefer weekend challenges over everyday play, it seems like I may do less than half of them. Half the weekends we have our kids at home, and the other half sometimes it's something ridiculous, like collect 50 gold medals in druffalo riding or whatever.

 

I'd really like to make a go of it, though. Even though next weekend I'm getting married. So yeah, please don't make that one suck.

 

I suppose I expected the bonus multiplayer content for preordering the collector's edition to be something special, and it turned out to just be a normal large chest, the first of dozens. So maybe the reward at the end of book 1 is going to be nothing I'd regret missing. Or maybe even something I would regret getting, if getting it proved difficult.

What would you like to see in it?

 

The problem that typically arises when building the table for the unique chests is that we can't just give Hakkon weapons to someone who has been playing for 4 or 5 weeks. We usually attempt to split it based on what you're loot score is at but as you can guess it always leaves people that are just under the next jump very upset (1 item could be the difference between a Hakkon weapon and a level 18 epic for example). The other option we have is to just pick some of the top accessories and build a big chest of those and set them to only drop if you don't already have them.

 

Lots of options but I suspect no matter which way we go some people won't be happy with it - such is the way of the chest

I think it's commendation, commendation, different chest, commendation, different chest.

 

Next one we will play around with the chests some more to give more fun/unique rewards.

 

Banners/Titles/portraits sadly are not something we can do with server-side created challenges, which these are.
