I couldn't shake the feeling that the song playing during the trailer is somehow associated with the content of the game, so I looked up the lyrics and the last few lines seem quite interesting: As the riders loped on by him he heard one call his name
'if you wanna save your soul from hell a-ridin on our range
Then cowboy change your ways today or with us you will ride
Tryin to catch the devil's herd across these endless skies

Bioware more or less confirmed that the song's lyrics are somehow related to the plot of the game. They said something along the lines of the song choice making more sense to us later.

Yes, OP, this topic already exists. But that's okay.

The lyrics are probably referring to the greedy nature of trying to acquire Remnant technology and that this will bite everyone in the ass eventually. The consequences could be from simply trying to acquire technology that you did not earn and thus dont understand, or that doing so literally causes the Remnant to return and that their intents are malicious. Personally, I suspect it will be a little of both.
