Just a side note but the glitch has been abused since the first day of the double xp weekend. As far as I know anyways. I know of no one who discovered before that point.

I believe this has been going on for much much longer

I have hit random glitched lobbies. The one thing that I think is prevalent is the people who are doing this usually have a very smug childish air in their voices. Like they are smoking in the bathroom at school. "Tee hee, I'm being naughty!" It makes me feel icky.

 

There was one fellow that friended me on PSN and I saw he was in a game so I asked for an invite. When I got in, it became apparent that they were glitching. I ran a couple matches with then so that they didn't feel that I was a square and quickly came up with a reason to leave and quit early for the night. I started thinking about it and I was like "did I just get peer pressured?" then I felt Icky again and wanted to 'Ace Ventura' in the shower. Not doing that again.

 

 

One nice thing is that I have noticed is that a lot of PUGs are disbanding when ever there is a host migration. I wondered what that was about but I realized that people are probably trying to avoid glitched lobbies. It doesn't take me but a few seconds to go back and rehost a new match. Interesting to see the difference between honest players and glitchers in the way they act.

 I respect everyones position on the matter. Really I do. Apparently, I see things from a totally screwed up and different perspective compared to others in the game. For that I apologize. I guess I just don't see it as harming me personally in anyway.  To me it is a co-op game after all and the stronger my friends are or someone in a pug is all the better for our chances for extraction.Period. For me its a win-win.

 

 I get it. Some people really want to destroy "cheaters" in this game. I just wish some would come clean and admit its not even remotely connected to the "rule of law" or "the best nature of mankind" logic and quit trying to appliy it to this game. If you personally don't like people that cheat, don't match up with them. The power you seek is at "your" finger tips. After that, it just seems to me to be an Ego driven cry for justice based on a spot on the leaderboards. I apologize. It is a co-op game after all. I just want an extract at the end of zone 5. My Ego was satisfied years ago when my Submarine Captain pinned my Dolphins on my chest. This game could never reflect my true character, nor would I ever expect it to. To me its an escape from reality.
