sometimes I don't die 5 waves and then it happens:

I need 2-3 medigels for ONE revive because those enemies that killed me happily do this over and over again

while I am trying to run away.

What is the point in giving only like 0,1 seconds invulnerability?

because the game wants to be realistic??

it's a GAME and everybody knows that the whole medigel-thing is un-realistic anyway.

But it's common sense that a game where Marauders take part and where Scions throw grenades a 100m-exact on you, hiding behind cover, needs a revive system.

I just wanted to know if you also think that it has to be changed in Andromeda.

I am writing this after I almost killed my mouse today and just need to vent some air.

Because the devs are a bunch of morons unable to comprehend that there is a difference in 0.1 sec of immunity between platforms.

Let's examine this for a moment shall we. On PC you revive you can run immediately in the goddamn direction of your choosing. (I feel it's important that I point that out because sometimes when you revive on console you run in the complete opposite direction of the one you want to go because **** you "Working As Intended") You should have stagger immunity and damage immunity for a short duration but longer than 0.1 sec. It is entirely possible to bleed through all six medigels and ops packs in one death on a Plat solo and move a total of 1 ****** meter because of ****** gang bang stun lock bukkake

Get in the habit of popping Ops packs before you die. Once I did, unless I get syncd.. I only really die 2-3 times a match..to which I gel...    f- pugz.

Sounds like an L2P issue  :P Kidding...or am I?

Seriously, this game is built on bullshit, so anything that's not bullshit is a pleasant surprise.

You can mod all that out if you want. Instant death. No postgel survivability. It gets boring real quick.

LOL This.  But seriously, IMO gels should be no more forgiving then they already are (at least you have them, you should be thankful!)

Waking up after dying is not realistic. Also, you don't need to help grills when they're bleeding out, it's natural.

also: I love it when I join a PUG that has already started,

and while my PC is still loading,

the whole enemy spawn gets wind of my arrival and makes an appointment at the LZ, all waiting for me.

And when I finally can move, I am already hugged by several Husks, while the Marauders gather and make sure I will need at least 2 medigels to

get out of that.

That's only because people are not smart enough to realize that gels are not the right consumable to use after you get downed the first time by that little pesky shitty motherfucker.

That's what I don't understand. The devs were saying that the enemy will keep attacking you if they see you, have good firing arcs, you're low on health and so on. But when a new player joins in GIP they all beeline to it. I don't get it. I've been in crap situations where Goons and Fantums were kicking my ass in some solos, then somebody joins and they all just say "well eff him, let's go stab and whip the new guy  "

I dunno what to feel. Should I be insulted by their behaviour? Should I laugh at it?

Haha yeah, I try to do that too, but sadly I don't have enough missiles myself, if others don't see the light and join in on the fun. Would be glorious to have played the first weeks and have got my missiles count up to 10, even if only to have the satisfaction of nuking 20 Geth motherfucking Primes a match.

Set those trolldrones to no cooldown and you'll really see why escape is futile.

then again reviving teammates does come with some joyous moments..such as: I will do whatever it takes to revive you when you are under a praetorian so it can insta-kill you..  that is one of my favorite things to do.

Let me just say that sometimes it don't matter which consumable that you use, you're going to take it in the arse and like it. Wave eight Collectors Plat I've been downed in the wrong place and wasn't able to get off the ground. I mean you revive then immediately ops pack and it's still not enough. Praetorians were going prae, prae on me trying to eat me between the drones stunning me.

Am I the only one who has zero problems with gel not giving immunity?

If you get downed in the open with lots of enemies around you, it's your own damn fault. Stay with your team if you can't take it, it's a co-op game - when you go down, at least they can clear the area around you even if they can't actually revive you.

Teammates? What the **** are these? I thought I was playing with some random NPCs that die instantly at the start of the match.

In seriousness though, it's really not generally a problem in a team game and you're right in a solo or team match generally it is my mistake that leads to the eventual cluster **** that follows but on Plat I just don't find that to be fun. I understand the enemies should be more difficult, the damage should be higher, things should be tougher, it's just having you're ability to actually move or act being restricted doesn't make for a very fun experience. This isn't a L2P deal either, for the most part I do just fine at this game and I'm generally fine with failing when it happens but those bullshit instances where you cannot even move after death are annoying and generally it's because of the "fixed" prime drones. A shiny ball that can be respawned every few instances should not be the ****** boss of Plat but they are generally the most annoying pet in Plat unless you have something like Arc Nades.

Dodge immediately after gelling gets you some mileage but that doesn't get you far on a plat solo which most plat pugs are in effect plat solos.

Heavy melee getting up. After its done you can fire or reload even in the recovery animation. If you reload as soon as you are not longer dying you can also reload getting up.

I consider myself lucky if pugs are actually reviving downed team mates. Asking them to be clever enough to clear the area before attempting a revive is way too much.
