Not sure if this violates the TOS but there is a petition on change.org about this subject. Please take a min to review and sign if you feel strongly about it.

From what ive gathered, if it hurts biowares fee fees then it is classed as an abusive attack or something. That said, I couldnt find it on change.org, but i wouldn't link it just incase you get smacked with a warning or a ban.

There's nothing wrong with posting a link to a petition. people have done it in the past without a problem and have even included them in their signatures.

And sorry if you have hurt fee fees over people asking you to be respectful of other people's fee fees. Maybe some warm milk will help?

I couldn't help myself as I have never heard anyone say fee fees before.

As for the topic, I hope the change will create an influx of players to the current generation to help with matchmaking and that the overall product of upcoming DLCs will improve with the vacating of the older gen consoles.  Sorry to my past gen brethren that you have to deal with this, but we welcome any that make the switch with open arms.

If only there were some way for them to convert and upgrade for free... Or at a substantially discounted price compared to the general public...

Like some kind of goodwill gesture for asking them to buy the same game twice in order to enjoy future support and paid content....

If that happens, it would be a nice show of appreciation to fans.  However, I wouldn't belabor the point much more as I am sure Bioware has heard the concerns of the last gen player base.  As I said, it is unfortunate that this is the case, but with the age of the hardware being taken out of the equation I hope that upcoming content will be overall better for the rest of the community.  I have bought games multiple times on different consoles to play with others in the past, so it isn't something that is completely out of scope for my personal experience. Just varied from what you and others are currently experiencing.

If they do implement a good faith towards the current player base, I would be all for it.  Time will tell.

I'm planning on transfering my acct to the next gen, most likely when the patch drops. I know it's dangerous to make promises, but can we the gamers expect anything specific in terms of an improved gameplay experience since the devs will only have to work on 3 platforms instead 5? Less bugs? Faster development and implementation of new content? Dare I say a more stable server?

Part of the reason old genners are miffed is because a dedicated group stuck it out through all the rough spots since beginning, and the prospect of rebuying the game with the same kind of continued problems is turning most people off. Should I not get my hopes up here or should I be looking forward to an improved experience?

Obviously, I hang with the wrong crowds, since I had to pay a visit to the Urban Dictionary to find out wtf a "fee fee" is.  I suppose it's something that Pork is very intimately familiar with.

I must say... This post is rather condescending considering it is a valid point due to ToS being used when it suits the moderators of this forum.

Also connotations of him needing to be treated like baby after you just cut off support to his platform is really unprofessional and you are actually directly mocking him.

Which may I add, are all in violation to the ToS of this forum... You can't ask for people to respect the ToS if employees of the company are not upholding these themselves.

Thought it was a cutesy expression for feelings.  I'm kind of sorry that, prompted by your post, I went and looked it up.

Perhaps I'm a little old-fashioned, but in my day, we just used our hands.  And our imaginations.  Probably TMI, I know, but I found it funny that there are actually YouTube videos on how to make the damned things.  Ahhh...YouTube, where were you in my youth?  LoL.

Karma or a polite reminder to support all anti-consumer policies if want to continue to post here.

You're on your own Last Gen... My apologies for supporting your cause.

I think you took that a bit too serious.  I post here just to have fun with some of the people I play with (as well as people that are just fun to post with) and mess around.  I will never support anti-consumer things.  I supported Bioware a ton.  Games, DLC, and word of mouth.  All that stopped for good as of a few days ago.  I have quite a bit of warning points myself.  My last one was as absurd as it gets, but I could get nothing done about it.

My perception of this forum changed the day I tried to make a thread supporting this community telling them we were not stupid and we don't need cloth boxes as if we needed cloth we knew to buy mage boxes.  After seeing some of the replies to that I changed my approach here.  I can't take it serious anymore. I don't see me leaving anytime soon, but its for no reason other than fun.

I got only 2 points, all happened within 24 hours of posting in this thread.

I post like I have always been posting in the several months I have been posting on here.

It doesn't bother me because DAMP is essentially dead in my region because of the overly strict matchmaking, but food for thought.

Alright I am going to jump into this thread and start answering some directed points, so bare with me

I actually don't see why offering upgrades doesn't make financial sense, if we're talking downloads for those who transfer accounts.  A downloaded game, in and of itself, costs basically nothing.  At most a couple cents for bandwidth and a tiny bit of labor to get it up on PSN/XBox One Game Store.  The charge is to recoup the cost of game design and development, a charge which these players have already paid.

So I am just going to talk about the "couple cents for bandwidth", the article may be a bit old but afaik this practice is still in place

http://multiplayerbl...adable-content/

16 cents/gb * 40gb = 6.40 so definitely not cheap.

Microsoft doesnt charge for bandwidth, but they would need some sort of incentive for people to pay more (because yes MS is a business)

No DLC is understandable. But not fixing the vast amount of bugs still plaguing the PS3 SP & MP game is kind of sleazy.

Bioware devs confirmed they are never going to fix any of the bugs their patches caused.

Since Billy and others are being incredibly sensitive over this entire topic, going as far to send PMs to me threatening bans its not like its far fetched. People, like myself, are understandably upset, yet we cant speak out because otherwise we will be banned.

We have people like scene_cachet being given warning points for posting an image, myself for 'incorrectly using the quote function', yet Drasca can insult and verbally abuse users for months without reprimand.

If you are going to "quote" me you should quote all of what I said
"Its possible those will never be fixed." and "No what I am saying is there are some things where they simply wont get fixed, because of a number of factors. This is not a "new" thing, it happens for pretty much every game that comes out."

You obviously can voice your displeasure without being banned, and they said they would be stricter about the content of this thread.

Actions speak louder than words though.  I'm over all of it and I can sit back laughing and joking.   That's not to say you shouldn't be able to say what you have to say.  I just mean no matter how it goes down in this thread its what people do in the future that matters.  The decision is made.  I just hope half the people who said they were going to actually do something, do it.  Not run and pre order ME: A when they tell you to.

Thing is, I like the games bioware makes so I will buy them. Doesn't mean I can't express my dislike for the developer and publisher due to the terrible and in cases such as this one, immoral corporate decisions they make.

I hate Nestle as a company, I like the chocolate they make though. I hate McDonalds as a company, I like the burgers they make though. I hate EA as a company, but I like the games they make.

This whole 'voting with your wallets' is stupid imo for this very reason.

Oh and @Bryan Johnson, thats not my reddit account.
