You know, over the weekend we had a weird looking Katari join our squad.  He was golden and with long ears.  Figured that was just an armour set I hadn't unlocked yet.  Damn, I think it was actully a nug.  No wonder we saw so few of them...

 

While we're at it, BW, can you tweak the nugs a bit.  Nothing like just entering an area with your warriour, and boom, there goes nugsy like a greyhound, too fast to catch without charging bull.  Watching all that gold just run away.. is...

I swear they have been cross-bred with greyhounds. (In fact, I just swear.)

So has there been a failed challenge yet? Or is this the first time, proving that Nugs are the master class for MP?

Definitely not the first failed challenge...and we get punished when we do. 

 

That being said, I think I only saw one nug all weekend...hard to beat a challenge when the challenger hides.

One of those knobs should let you give druffalos the nug model.

We figured 2 Reavers with Hakkon weapons hacking at it for 6 seconds and not dying was a bug for sure...

On the other hand, trying to chase them down can get you into enough trouble anyway - said after realising that sprinting half way through the zone trying to catch something that could not be killed while annoying red templars was maybe not a sensible strategy.

Ahhh, I like it.  Instead of nugs trying to get away, keep the huge health pool, up their agression, and have them attack players to earn the gold (we'll get that gold, or die trying—there's a old west rap song in there somewhere).

 

Reminds me of Neverwinter, where sometimes a treasure chest comes alive and attacks the hell outta you.  Freaky but fun.

Lol that ****** nug did it's job well. We played a nightmare match, tried to take the nug down and got lured into a red templar assassin trap. I guess we were all a bit startled by the amount of health of the nug and felt compelled to chase after it.

I looooooooool because I actually chased that effer to the end of FC... all 5 zones. Even the dragon was confused when it wouldn't die.
