So everyone's just going to hive five a game that had three maps on release and, nearly nine months later has a whopping four?

Everyone ask yourself......have I paid more £££/$$$ since I bought the game to warrant more multi player content. Am I one of those people just expecting a ton of content for free?
As stated before, it's not like anyone bought a "season pass" for DLC.
Take what you get, or don't.
Grind it out, or don't.
Coming here to complain about "maps" won't win you any favour with anyone.

BW, on XB1 still not seeing these randomized zones, only the door transition. Asking some other XB1 players last night, they also said they have yet to see randomized routes.
Is this active on XB1 yet? If so, what might be the problem in that we're seeing only the door transition and not the randomized routes? I did a reset on the XB1 thinking caching may be an issue, but no go.

I know more than one person who bought this game solely for the multiplayer and have not touched the single player campaign. So no, they didn't buy a season pass, they paid full retail price for it. And they did so after being told by BioWare that Dragon Age Inquisition multiplayer would be "supported beyond what Mass Effect 3 multiplayer was."
Take what you get?
How about, Expect what you paid in advance for?

But they paid for single player too and just choose not to use it. I'm not having a go at you but that was the product.
I don't play single player either but I can't blame BW for that.

Got my first randomly generated match last night. Appreciated the added variety - the randomness really did improve the experience - but would still appreciate a new setting or two.

I'd liken it to purchasing a car on the promise that it's fuel efficient, and it turns out that was a lie. Your statement would be akin to someone saying "You paid for the car".

They do fall, we just took away any damage in that moment. Some levels are at a different height, so sometimes they "fall" into the teleport.
Also, the original routes are still there so every now and then you'll get them with no transition.
Possible bug, an AW pug I was with appeared to take hefty fall damage transitioning into zone 5. Only seen it happen once, and it was to a pug so couldn't ask him/her for more details, but they went from full health to almost nothing. It was kinda funny, actually.

I really don't understand why people need to use analogies for situations like this, because like lies, damn lies, and statistics you can make them say anything:
You can liken playing just the multi-player to purchasing a car that is advertised as having incredible wheels and providing a real smooth ride, and then choosing not to use the wheels, but rather just play the in car radio.
There we go, aren't analogies great!

If you would've bought a different car, but chose this one instead because it was supposed to have a better radio, and it turns out the radio was falsely advertised, you've still been ripped off. Try again.

Or how about, you bought a game as is and as available at that point, it's in the TOS.
See how we don't need analogies?
Regardless, the map changes are interesting, but currently not changing things up that much. Hopefully it'll become more pronounced as they roll out the other variations.

Whatever puff piece, hype statement you have chosen to pin your hopes and dreams to doesn't change the fact that you bought a game as is and as available at that point, it's in the TOS.
If you don't feel that you have gotten value for money from the hours you have spent in game, then that is fine. I personally feel I've received a great time/money ratio return.
In fact almost all of the vitriol on this forum regarding the issues in this thread:
http://forum.bioware...-going-forward/
as with most things on the internet is burning long past any rational end point.
As Altbouli says, this has descended into an internet fight where neither of us will change our opinions.
So, please feel free to respond but I'll just leave this particular thread of conversation here.

Not sure the following problem is linked directly to the new map rotation, but I had a game tonight (this morning) where it was oddly bugged. Had a case of insomnia, so got up and started playing. Pugged into a Perilous game, everything was normal, but with none of the new map variation. When it finished, the host left, and I inherited the lobby. It was still set Tevinter Ruins, Perilous. The three of us started playing, and I lost sound as soon as the game loaded. So, I go into Options, reset my audio to regain sound, and start trying to catch the other two.
The game was going easy. In fact, so easy that around zone 3, I started noticing that the gold I was picking up was at Routine difficulty payouts. Checked to make sure it was still set to Perilous. It was. Everything was being OTK'ed though, and we breezed through the rest of the game. At the end, the XP payouts were at Routine level, as well, though the lobby was clearly still set to Perilous. This second game was with one of the new teleporting map sets, by the way.
Thanked the players, and told them I was closing the bugged lobby.

They could give me a new sock option for the Necromancer and I would be happy, it's free, enjoy it. If you don't, and you are dissatisfied with the game maybe you should pursue other interests.
Why the hell is everyone's mind blown at the thought that maybe the game isn't for you, regardless of the comparisons to "ME3" support or whatever. That statement is an albatross on this game that should start it's winged migration off these forums forever. The final chapter has yet to be written for DAMP, don't judge it until the "last call" so to speak. (legacy console folks, your judging can begin...now! Sorry, couldn't resist)

Even if we lowball "fun" at $5 an hour, you would only have to play it for twelve hours to have got your dollar value
Just because they said that they would support it longer they made no guarantees that you would enjoy or appreciate their efforts.
