You really don't think you got your $60 worth?

Even if we lowball "fun" at $5 an hour, you would only have to play it for twelve hours to have got your dollar value


Just because they said that they would support it longer they made no guarantees that you would enjoy or appreciate their efforts.

We don't all quantify enjoyment by hours played, they said they would support it longer than ME3 - this clearly isn't the case for last gen consoles. If your happy to wait 6months+ for 3 new characters, 1 new map and a lot of bugs then your idea of enjoyment is very different to ours.

I don't know if anyone else is having this problem, but the camera transition between rooms is giving me motion sickness and I don't know if I'll be able to continue playing like this... is there ANY way to turn off random routes or just the camera thing?

I paid more than "$60" for it, and I obviously don't think I got my money's worth. I wouldn't be complaining if I felt I did.

Not for myself. Pending any potential changes by BW, use the natural low tech solution of closing your eyes. I know... "thank You capt obvious."

Yes! On Xbox 1. It's subtle, but it certainty changes up the feeling of being the human Roomba I could occasionally lapse into prior to the application of this feature.

Have encountered the random routes a lot on PS4 these past three days.

 

Door transition is cool, but... I still have the maps so memorized that any initial disorientation is overcome almost immediately.

 

Not a bad thing. I like them. It's just kinda "meh" for me, though.

I was wrong about the random path opening scene being annoying. I'm not afraid to admit I was wrong. However, I would love new chars to play these random routes :). Just saying...

Yea I think this is why its "meh" for me too. Ran so many times my mind subconsciously orients myself without me even noticing.

BUG REPORT

 

I've just had a session where my char DID take damage when going through the airlock. In case it is relevant, I was not running through the health point room but standing back waiting to be teleported. Dropped down to the lowest bar of health.

 

System: PC   Location: Zone 5 Orlesian Chateau

 

This has happened to me twice this weekend, and also a teammate.

Did this happen when entering zone 5? I now know of three instances, all of which happened entering that zone. Also, do you remember the setting. This might help pin the problem down. Given the number of reports compared to the number of games played, this seems to be a very infrequent event, so any pattern observed may help locate the bug.

 

I wonder whether it would be useful to open a separate thread? The details which may be helpful are probably:

 

 Elven R/Orlesian C/ Tevinter R

Zone where HP lost.

Name of previous zone, e. g. Library

Sorry, not sure. I will now make notes if and when this happens. I am quite sure that on both occassions I was entering zone 5.

I once ended up in a Pillar after being teleported to another Zone, but a jump got me out of it with no problems.

 

I did NOT lose any health tho.

Same for me. I guess for those of us who have played DAMP for so long, the random zone map selection system doesn't do much of anything for us. Now if zone five could be random like any of the other four zones...that could be interesting.

I once ended up in a Pillar after being teleported to another Zone, but a jump got me out of it with no problems.

 

I did NOT lose any health tho.

Has anyone else noticed an unusual number of enemies (typically wolves) getting stuck in/behind walls and fences on Tevinter levels (especially the outdoor one with the mezzanine near the exit)?

Not yet, but I saw one wolf, who kept (or tried) walking up a wall. But I can't remember if it was in Tevinter or in the Elven Ruins.

This happens all the time in the Elven Ruins for me, just a few hours ago i had to spam Explosive Shot against a wall until the red dot finally disappeared from the map and the key dropped.  -_-

Also in one of the treasure rooms, and you need a ranged weapon to hit it or some other way to provoke it into moving. Otherwise you may as well use Ctrl/Alt/10 lb hammer.
