First one sounds like Morrigan to me, though she still continued her plan, somewhat Jack and some other LI's too. Well, almost all LI's in BW's games have painful past and get new direction from protagonist
I think Aria could fit otherwise, but she doesn't really deceive you nor try to seduce or act vulnerable. She's dangerous woman and see tells it to you right away. "Don't **** with Aria."
True enough, at least wrt her relationship with Shepard. I did, however, get the impression that she has used femme fatale sorts of techniques in the past - or has at least had members of her army use them.

I'd love Asari commando with Morinth's outfit and Aria's attitude.

You know, the more I think about it, the more I wonder how it would work. If the idea is that it's a woman who uses her attractiveness/sexiness to manipulate the PC, then we immediately run into an issue where she would have to be an LI and that aspect of her character would have to be during the romance content because, otherwise, it wouldn't make much sense. How would it work for a gay male or straight female PC? But then the downside is that she'd have to have some kind of option for redemption or it would seriously mess up the romance for paragon PCs, right? I mean, I guess it could work out, but it seems like it would be weird for a paragon PC to be manipulated by his/her femme fatale LI and then forgive her unless she 'gave up her ways', no? I'm just struggling to see how it would work out in this game. I think it would work much better in a game with a set PC (either straight/bisexual male or bisexual/lesbian female).
Why would she have to be a LI?
It would be much better if she was the villain... and we wouldn't know until late in the game. Think of evil Kira of Star Trek: DS9. Or think of Lara Raith of the Dresden Files.
Make the femme fatale the antogonist of the game. Someone who seduces your potential allies, someone who takes over through diplomacy, trickery and blackmail. Make her an enemy you can't just shoot. Make her charming, intelligent, funny, sexy... completely likeable up until the point where she backstabs you and leaves you for dead.

That's just female Kai Leng. Everyone's going to want to shoot her. Like the first part of your post, the stealing alies and screwing you over, makes it clearly obvious she's your antagonist.
It's basically asking for a Sun Li type plot, but what made Sun Li work as a villain was that everything was set in motion a long time before the main plot rolled around. And the reason Sun Li can defeat you is both subtly hinted at and well-justified in the moment.
It's the same with backstabing. That requires her to actually win in a fight, or put your PC in a hard to win one.. and our ungodly killing machine PC doesn't jive with that execution.

I was never particularly sympathetic to the people angry over Thane's death. Granted, femsheps do seem to get the short end of the stick overall, but I don't like the idea of the character stories being entirely at the whims of romance content. We knew right from the start that Thane was a dying man. Fans should have been ready to deal with consequences for that.
I think the problem is more than Thane's death is pretty lame. It's supposed to set up Kai Leng as threatening, but it doesn't really pull it off. It's kind of the anti-Mordin. His sacrifice - if you let him cure the genophage - is poignant, because it's his choice, and "it had to be [him]" because "someone else could have gotten it wrong". It's a nice callback, it fits with his arc, etc.
If Thane's death was about him just getting overwhelmed because he was visibly sick - which is sort of what they're going for anyway - in a fight he'd otherwise win, I think people would be more OK with it. But Kai Leng just doesn't get taken seriously as an antagonist, so instead of it being "Thane loses to a worthy enemy only because he was sick", it's "Thane loses to a piece of human garbage he should have been able to crush even without lungs".

Yea. You want badass girl but she has to be hot too. Otherwise no deal. Then we will get another Miranda and people will be angry about it because its "sexist". Still would enjoy some hot girl in my crew ;P
God forbid we get another Miranda, she had a weird looking face that would range from okay looking, to Michael Jackson-esque depending on lighting or angle. Her ass despite what the closeups of it would suggest, wasn't that great either. H4 Cortana and Bayonetta are the proper gaming asses worthy of a closeup.
And agreed on wanting a badass dame that must be hot.

Most comments towards Miranda comes from buttshots and outfit that isn't fit to battle. In my opinion buttshots just cheapen character, when she is talking about serious stuff about her life you just stare at her ass, pretty rude if you ask me ^^; Buttshots would be much better in romance/flirting content than that ^^ And I think her outfit is quite nice, for the office work or going to Citadel, but not so in middle of Tuchanka or some other place full of people/things trying to shoot you.

No... she's a femme fatale. You don't even know she's the villain behind everything at first. Maybe she's just some diplomat or CEO, someone who's always a little faster in making connections and getting good deals than you. Maybe she is your friend, someone who flirts with you a lot... she's not an opponent until late in the game. Definitely not a Kai Leng type. -.-
Backstabbing wasn't meant literally. More like, laying a trap for you. Maybe standing behind an army of mercs, blowing you a kiss as she turns and leaves you to your fate after getting what she wanted.
Sun-Li was a great villain and one I mentioned in my own thread, but that's not what I was talking about here either.
Think more like... I don't know... a female Lex Luthor who uses sex appeal as a weapon. Someone who's your biggest fan in public, someone who donates to charity and is well liked by the media... but who is also a merciless business person or bounty hunter or whatever.
There are so many possibilities... ![]()

There are quota's now?
I'm pretty sure I'm getting more 'likes' than you and maia combined son.
Yeah... no. A simple click would have told you that your assumption was completely wrong. You didn't even check before posting.
Most regular posters have a quota of 75% or better, it's just something I observed. I'm not saying it's the ultimate proof for anything because people like posts for many reasons, it's merely an indicator at best. (I even liked some of your posts if I agreed with the content, no matter what I think of you personally.) It is something to think about though.
Btw... 'son'? I'm almost 35. Are you that much older than me? ^^

A blonde femme fatale?
Lucrezia Borgia
or maybe skip strict literalist interpretations of the femme fatale trope and sublimate some of the characteristics so the character can be portrayed as a sci-fi creature.

I wasn't talking about 'likes' in general, I was talking about 'likes' in this thread and other thread were we discussed feminism, social justice and other related subjects. I took a 2 year break of the BSN after ME3 was released and before that I was mostly sh!t-posting in the offtopic section or in the groups I'm part of. On top of that most of my regular friends and palls left the BSN completely after ME3 came out so unlike most other people I don't have an entourage of friends that hands out 'likes' simply for being friends.
So yeah, of course I'm not going to have that many 'likes' in total, but whenever I do get 'likes', it's almost always whenever I speak up against feminists or SJWs. So make of that as you will.

I'm young enough to belong to the generation of people that in my eyes is completely f*cked up, but I'm also old enough to see that the generation after mine is even more f*cked up. I'm an 80's kid. I grew up with G1 and G2 Transformers, the first Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and the 2nd run of the original Thunderbirds.
If you're really that curious, I have posted my age several times on this forum, so with some search-jutsu you should be able to find it.

Lucrezia was a whiney girl who was not really independent, or strong.
