I turn 35 in a month :D Hey old timers play games, too! And we're smarter than these young pups and know to just shake our heads and smile at their silliness :P

Video games are for all ages, CuriousArtemis. If anyone says differently, then they have either played bad games or none at all... from my point of view.

Lucrezia was a whiney girl who was not really independent, or strong.

And sense this is Mass Effect, have aliens not already been confirmed?

Any portrayed distressed state may only be a ruse to arouse a reaction. Although, Princess Ardala, a seeming Borgia analog, seems to fit what you're saying.

As for aliens in Mass Effect. That is the nature of the beast. Scifi provides an opportunity for writers to deconstruct human conditions and reconstitute them in an way particular to the narrative.

While I'm personally not opposed to a simple human portrayal. It's short sighted to limit a hypothetical scifi femme fatale character to a conventional human embodiment.

Pretty sure we're all just Natalie Dormer-sexuals. Because seriously. Also, she really rocks that haircut.

A current femme fatale on television right now i think is Two from Dark Matter. Someone like that would be cool. A good femme fatale character is very powerful, and you're more than a little afraid of her. She's also always in control.

Two looks really really good.(^:

And a girl who takes control... I am fine with that.(^:

I know it is not polite to ask a girl her age, but what decade-baby are you? If you do not want to tell me, then I apologize for asking.

Asking a girl's age is no different than asking a guy's age. No need to be so apologetic about it. After all she was the one who started questioning the age of the posters here.

I remember you saying that you had just turned 17 on the previous forums. In that same year I turned 23.

How time flies. Kudos if you can figure out my current age. Clue: I haven't turned x years old yet..

Anyway. I'd like the femme fatale to be in 30's or 40's, highly social, very charismatic and mysterous.

So basically River Song but with a lot less innuendo.

I was 19 years old when I started sh!t-posting on the BSN (under a different name and account back then). I can't believe that 7 years has past since then.

Anyway back on topic, I think a 30-40 something would be pretty good age for a femme fatale.
Sexuality isn't all about looking pretty. It's about how you carry yourself.

You can be covered head to toe in full plate armour, but if you are confident and experienced you can pull it off.

It's all about teasing whilst being out of reach. There has to be some form of chase.

So I'd like the femme fatale to be the hardest character to romance.
In real life I don't like hard to get, but this is a video game with were talking about a very silly trope here.

30 to 40? You mean 25 to 40! And yes a good chase is always fun, but only if she is teasing. I love a good chase, but I like to be constantly reminded of the prise.

Small fact check: the derailment of this thread started in post #10 when SnakeCode decided to mock feminists without any provocation.

I don't really want to get into this again but since this is the third time someone has said this I feel the need to address it. I in no way mocked feminists, or even mentioned them in the post you quoted. Everyone else started talking about feminism after the fact.

So i'm asking, please don't lie about me, even if you disagree with the points I am making. I'd never lie about anyone else so show me the same courtesy.

I'm a 70's baby. 38 to be exact.

ETA: I don't consider it rude. 30's are great!

That is not even old.

Anything above 35 is too old for my tastes (unless asari). A femme fatale character should be 30 years old at most.

Now I feel so young

Btw doesn't femme fatale mean that our character won't romance her no matter what? Also she would probably push our character into some trouble.

Gee, that must have been just after I really discovered DA and ME even existed.

So you would be... 27-28?

On-Topic:  A Femme-Fatale doesn't mean an ice-queen with an ice-cream core like Miranda

I have to say I'm more interested in a Femme Fatale antagonist than a companion (Though maybe she could be both and betray you mid-game?)

Or better yet, 26 like my waifu Christie. A proper femme fatale has to not only be attractive but indeed, young(both are strongly tied together). That strictly rules out women over 30.

Early to mid-20s is the sweet spot.

What would people think about non-human femme fatale? Or does it have to human?

An asari would work, but there's a necessary sex-appeal component to the femme fatale archetype, harder to pull off with a turian or a salarian.

EDIT: Maybe quarian, but the faceless visor would make that very hard to pull off.

Asari or human. Maaaybbbbbbeeeeeeeeeeee quarian (if she's like a sexier version of Admiral Xen it could work).

I think she would have to be really attractive. I think it's hard to hit that note without making the non-human basically a human with pointy ears.

The asari are just women with funny hats. And while tastes vary, I think the lack of hair detracts from their look (but that's because I find long hair attractive, see again Natalie Dormer).

Still saddens me that I couldn't control the Geth for my beloved Admiral in ME3. I would have loved to have assisted her with data received from keeping David in Project Overlord too.
