photo-thumb-772393.png?_r=1424974684 35? But you look 20 in that image. Obviously you're not an elf, but you were drawing an elven version of yourself.

Anyway back on topic, I think a 30-40 something would be pretty good age for a femme fatale.

Sexuality isn't all about looking pretty. It's about how you carry yourself.

You can be covered head to toe in full plate armour, but if you are confident and experienced you can pull it off.

Heck the less you show, the better in my opinion. Show too much too soon and you leave less to the imagination.

It's all about teasing whilst being out of reach. There has to be some form of chase.

So I'd like the femme fatale to be the hardest character to romance.

In real life I don't like hard to get, but this is a video game with were talking about a very silly trope here.

I agree with your age range. A femme fatale under 30 would strike me as unrealistic as she would just not have the maturity to pull off the intelligence/manipulative/mysterious vibe.

Anything above 35 is too old for my tastes (unless asari). A femme fatale character should be 30 years old at most.

I have met some really good looking girls who were 38 and 39. In fact, I once accidentally flirted with a 37 year old who I thought was about 28 or 29 -- she looked really good for her age; rocking yoga pants and a halter top. I still tried to get her number.

25-40 sounds about right to me for an age range.

Besides, this is the future!  People will be looking like they're 29 when they hit 50 by then with advances in cosmetic and medical science!

I guess it's hard to be seductive when you don't look humanoid. Krogan, Turian or even Batarian femme fetale might not work for lot of players. Though I can't even think those alien races acting like one either XD

Depending on what archtype would mean in practice, I'd like Asari femme fetale. They must have lot of life-experience already to pull manipulation and such off taken accord their age. However I'd still be more up to fun femme fatale that wasn't all uncaring and cold ^^ Someone more like Kasumi or Selina Kyle.

An asari would work, but there's a necessary sex-appeal component to the femme fatale archetype, harder to pull off with a turian or a salarian.

EDIT: Maybe quarian, but the faceless visor would make that very hard to pull off.

We are going to an entirely new galactic disk. There must be some new races...

What would people think about non-human femme fatale? Or does it have to human?

Thanks for highlighting the lcd. <_<

Appearance.

They're made out of meat...

Kasumi should have been a romance option. She was one of my favorite characters.

Age is just a number.

In some aspects. But, most people I know would agree that you gain a very different perspective as you age. I look back on my 20's as a great time in my life but I didn't know as much as I thought I did. Life experience counts for a lot and you don't realize it until you have it. I'm sure 10 years from now I'll probably say the same thing about myself now. It's not an insult; it's just a difference in life stages.

Entirely understandable. This is Lauren Bacall in "The Big Sleep," by the way. Nat already posted about her downthread, I think.

I was born 70 years too late.

Regarding aliens, I think Morinth and maybe even Samara could be considered femme fatale (though I think a key component of a femme fatale is that she possess traditionally feminine physical attributes, which would include long hair).

Yes, but they'd still have to look attractive to humans for the archetype to work.

Being able to play as a femme fatale would be pretty awesome.

As long as you're not a space marine when you're doing it.

If Commander Shepard could be a femme fatale then it would just be strange

Alliance N7 and Council Spectre also being a femme fatale doesn't work.

Paragon Shepard: Lawful good and by the books. Is accountable to both Council and Alliance whilst also trying to do the right thing. Is a bit too goodie two shoes to be a femme fatale. Attractive yes.

Renegade Shepard: Does whatever it takes to save the day. Is ruthless and a bit to harsh to be femme fatale. Attractive yes. But vixen, maybe not.

I find it hard to believe that a soldier would be the sexually manipulative sort.

Danmar The Volus Femme Fatale. Considered highly attractive to fellow volus. Unfortunately her charms don't seem to work on other races.

Probably because she looks like this.

P.s. Danmar is not an actual Mass Effect character.

Uh what? I know many women in their 20s who are more intelligent and more mature than many 30+ women. Not to mention that most women around their mid-30s and older are starting to hit the wall and are in fact too old to pull off the sexy/desirable vibe that a femme fatale should have.

While I wouldn't mind casual relations with a dame in her late 30s that suits my fancy(I can go as high as early 50s in some cases), I wouldn't go for anything over 30(preferably not older  than 25) for anything serious. Once they get to 35 or so, they're at the end of their expiration date when it comes to child bearing, but even if a man isn't interested in that, the younger gals will be able to maintain their looks for much longer.

Right, increased age far from always guarantees increased knowledge or maturity. More often than not, a vapid twenty something dame will remain vapid into her 30s,40s and beyond.

photo-thumb-709122.jpg?_r=1435032351 I can think of one actress in her 30's who can pull of that role without difficulty. [Googles Lena Headey]. 41 already? Damn!

The MRA types have already shown themselves for what they are and are not very subtle in their attempts to troll. Don't worry, nobody is going to cry in their pillow if a bunch of 20 year olds don't find women in their 30s 'sexy'.
