I'm pretty sure everyone here knows Natalie Dormer. And yes, she's hot.

Personally I'd like to see a femme fatale character portrayed and voiced by this beautiful woman:

I like her as a blonde, and I've been posting that as a suggestion because there hasn't been any blonde LIs for straight/bi men in a BioWare game in years.  For that matter, with the exception of Sera, there hasn't been any blonde women as party members in general since BG2.

That being said, she looks much better as as brunette.  :P  Currently, she's in Game of Thrones.  I first saw her in the Tudors when she was playing Anne Boleyn.

Sidenote:  I also <3  Anne Boleyn.  One of my favorite historical figures.

Would she have been considered a Femme Fatale?

Any excuse to post Natalie Dormer pics is a good excuse. I need more convincing, Natashina.

Maybe, but I never saw her that way.  In any case, she isn't a great example due to the sudden separation of her head and neck thanks to Henry VIII.  If she had lived longer, maybe she would have cuckholded him, but who knows.

While I don't object to this, I think we should give lesser-known hotties a chance too, such as Deborah Ann Woll, who's only been really starting to get into the spotlight since her role as Karen Page in the Daredevil Netflix series (and I suppose some might know her from True Blood).

As I have written before (several times), neither Morrigan nor Miranda are femme fatales. I mean, seriously, at which point in the games are they using seduction or sex to further their goals? The Dark Ritual? Eh... no. Morrigan is surprisingly honest about it and tries to convince you with logic and an appeal to your friendship/relationship.

Miranda never tries to seduce anyone, in fact she's complaining about her perfect body far too much which implies that she's not comfortable with it. Oh, and the Shadow Broker dossiers show that she treats sex as a transaction with no emotions whatsoever.

In short: They don't fit the descriptions.

To my knowledge we never had a femme fatale in BioWare games (with the possible exception of Morinth).

Read my post again, i didn't imply that the examples fits the description.

Morrigan isn't just femme fatale, she is the-the femme fatale, she bewitched my warden and drove him crazy(am talking about me), she was seductive all the way through and used sex to achieve her goals, as i recall she was the one who invited the warden to her tent, what was it she said?

"tis cold in my tent all alone"

"i was thinking a worm body next to mine might be even better"

"come now my grey warden must it be so complicated"

If that isn't seduction, then i don't know what is, even her body language and how she moved her delicate fingers( i probably should stop there)

Even her giving you the ring was part of her plan, she couldn't risk losing you, before she shags you.

and don't be fooled by her Innocence in the dark ritual, from the moment she left Flemeth hut, she set a goal and Cha-Ching she succeeded with exelance, all the warden could say "you used me" and stuff like that.

Femme fatale is a stock character of a mysterious and seductive woman whose charms ensnare her lovers, often leading them into compromising, dangerous, and deadly situations. She is an archetype of literature and art. Her ability to entrance and hypnotise her victim with a spell was in the earliest stories seen as being literally supernatural; hence, the femme fatale today is still often described as having a power akin to an enchantress, seductress, vampire, witch, or demon, having power over men.The phrase is French for "fatal woman". A femme fatale tries to achieve her hidden purpose by using feminine wiles such as beauty, charm, and sexual allure. In some situations, she uses lies or coercion rather than charm. She may also be (or imply that she is) a victim, caught in a situation from which she cannot escape.Although typically villainous, or at least morally ambiguous, and always associated with a sense of mystification and unease,[1] femmes fatales have also appeared as antiheroines in some stories, and some even repent and become true heroines by the end of the tale. Some stories even feature benevolent and heroic femmes fatales who use their wiles to snare the villain for the greater good.

She was mysterious and seductive, she led the warden to a confront with Flemeth, and probably used a spell on the warden, she is supernatural(she can turn to a freaking spider), she lied, she played the victim when asking you to kill Flemeth "you're the only one who can help me" and all that sweet talk.

For lord sake, she's menace, and then her personalty turns 180 degree, am telling you the girl's crazy.

As for Miranda yes she doesn't fit entirely, still she bewitched me, soo,,yeah.

Deborah Ann Woll is originally a blonde though. She dyed her hair red. It looks really good and natural on her though!

BioWare, can we get a vixen type girl for a squadmate? I have a weakness for the intelligent, deadly, attractive girls, with long legs, and long hair -- preferably red or black. I do not want the traditional female, the innocent girl, or the perfect paragon; I want the vixen, the ice queen, the girl who really beautiful and deadly simultaneously. I already know there is going to be romance, so let me have some fun. Think Morrigan from Dragon Age or Miranda Lawson from the eariler Mass Effect's.

Liberal feminist here.  Far as I can tell, this is not what the OP intended and I know that this has already gotten a little ugly.  If anyone feels someone is baiting them, don't rise to it.  This is a pretty good topic idea, so let's not get too sidetracked.  There is a better time/thread for this.  If someone feels that strongly about feminism/backlash from radical feminism, start a new thread and leave the OP alone please.

Do you know what happened the last time a thread was started to discuss these issues that you agree are important? People whined and said there was already a thread for this topic, reported the thread until it was shut as a duplicate and the mod redirected people to the other thread. But the other thread is actually hostile to fems as well and the op, a guy, posts rules that 'no feminist crap' is allowed. His toadies agree and tell you to start another thread. So, I just call out problems when I see them and get dog piled on (which I expect, btw).

So here we are with the conversation being shut down at every opportunity and even the 'liberal feminists' on this forum cozy up to some of the worst anti fem guys with praise and likes. Many of you are quick to call out another feminist and don't have a word to say about the more extreme posts from the anti-fem crowd. Again, fine. But just realize that you are just as guilty of shutting down the conversation.

Translation: "How dare you be a moderate and reasonable feminist Natashina? You should be as extreme and opinionated as I am! You're not marching to the rad-fem lockstep so you might as well be another enemy to the rad-fem hegemony! You gender-traitor!"

I completely lost track of where all this was going, frankly. Harshing my buzz.

Did get a chuckle out of the staunch feminist berating the more levelheaded feminist, though. I'm sure Natashina did, too.

I did as well, It immediately reminded me of the Chinese cultural revolution when Mao's red guard went out of control and went after the old CCP officials for not being revolutionary enough.

Spot on Yaroub. I started reading this thread shaking my head that so many people could be so painstakingly pedantic (while also being incorrect) about the definition. Was going to respond but found you already had.
