Maybe one who has a natural aversion to men and is slightly unhinged:

Feminist Fatale.

Isn't that basically Valerie Solanas?

Policying what women should and shouldn't look like based on what you find sexy is quite annoying. I have seen this in quite many threads now by some people who well know who they are.

Major flaw in that, of course, is that the protagonist can reject Morrigan every step of the way. That in itself rules her out as a real femme fatale in the narrative: her spell is indeed resistible, her offer can be seen as nothing but an opportunity and non-sexual in nature, and she ultimately brings no harm to the protagonist. In fact, rejecting her offer puts the protagonist in even more danger!

You are way stricter than this trope ever intended to be. Many dangers a Femme Fatale did classically is ask for help with a complicated problem. Flemeth counts. And yes, all love intrests can be denied on every level usually, thats so you don't get locked in. Irresistible is less to do with reality since in reality and literally, most femme fatale's are resistable. Thats part of the story with them, resisting them.

Morrigan is very much a femme fatale, but to fit your qualifications, they couldn't be romances, only side characters in another character's story.

As far as this thing is going with the feminist thing. Maia is going to far, but all these anti-feminists are really doing everything that they complain against. Some self awareness always helps, see what helps and what doesn't. You guys complain when devs add SJ stuff in, let the devs do dev things as your requests, and sometimes that means they want to. You guys go way too far to insult the opposition, which once again is exactly what you complain about.

I don't really get how demonizing one group to the point of railroading a fun thread gets anyone anywhere. A feminist goes overboard, and you guys need to go more overboard. It has gotten to the point that you feel feminists are so wrong, that devoting time and effort beyond is warranted. You paint one group as the bad guys and then all attacks are reasonable because these people are wrong for XYZ. So radical feminists create radical anti-feminists, which create radical feminists. it's the same in a lot of ways. But one side being the great Paragon and the other the Evil Renegade just detracts from everything.

There's a lot of grey in the world, it's not black and white.

So when I see men complaining about number of romances compared to straight women, and people being angry at them and yelling them down, it is frustrating, because this dude is wanting something, he's being fine, he's allowed to ask, he's allowed to complain.

And when feminists complain about the outfits and ask for them to be a little different, and guys jump in insulting them and being over the top, thats not right, they are allowed to complain, they are fine, they are allowed to ask, and want something different.

I mean people are people, living beings, not cartoonish villains in your lives, who everyone must compare to the evilest thing they can think of. People can want opposite things than you. I really hate the idea of Multiplayers, especially for Mass effect Andromeda, but that doesn't mean I want to fill the Multiplayer forums with hate that they exist. Even if it fills my video game experience with terribleness(and yet people do that and it boggles my mind), I say I disagree and why and I move on. Let me say what I want, and you say what you want, eh? Be reasonable to each other.

Calm down misogynist police. Finding certain things attractive and wanting them is about as inherently evil as the threads asking for extinct minorities that you are fully in support of.

You changed my comment as something it was not. There is some people whose comments I have been disturbed with couple times already, since they are not only policying fictional women- also real life women in both looks and personality which I find as annoying, I'm okay with someone not thinking something or someone is attractive, but that doesn't mean person shouldn't be like that or that she should change herself according their wishes. I haven't seen people policying men here in terms what their personality and looks should be and shouldn't be.

Shortly: In any point I wasn't saying that people can't have type and I'm not against request of OP. What I'm against is lewd comments of some people in this thread, who have continuously made these comments on forums. They know who they are.

Not really. Not a single person has come into this thread saying, "This is what all woman should look like, and if she doesn't, she doesn't deserve to live." No one said that everyone woman should change to their wishes. What you, and several more feminist inclined people in this thread have done, is what you've accused me of, misrepresenting someone's point and then talking about how wrong it was. If someone wants to be attractive to my standards, they need to meet my standards, and if they don't they aren't attractive to me. You can have a face full of steel, an arm full of ink, and hair full of dye. You can do that because you are allowed by the law to be that unattractive and stupid. It's none of my business; be yourself, but if you want to be considered attractive by me, and this thread is asking for someone to actually look and be attractive to the OP's standards, preferably you should have a bearable minimum of all those things. I don't find that attractive, a lot of people don't. I'm not going act like it's attractive to please you, or anyone else, and I'm going to be vocal about my lack of finding that attractive. I want women to look a certain way. I want all women to be attractive. I want a perfect world full of perfect little people that I can stomach talking to for hours on end. I won't get that, and I'm okay with not getting that. I have some pretty weird friends, and I love them all the same. I won't be sleeping with a single one of them anytime soon, or trying to. The idea that wanting something is inherently wrong is stupid as ****, and I feel no shame in vocalizing it. When you treat someone unfairly because of their differences, then it's a problem, but wanting those things is perfectly fine.

Policying other people over their looks and personality is. Also stating what you don't think people should have based on your type of women/men is not necessary at all and makes you dick. There is also different ways of saying things without being a dick. "You" as general here.

Like I said I have no problem with OP here and this request. I have problem with some people policying other people. Welcome to that bunch.

No it's not. I don't care about hurting someone's feelings, and I expect them to treat me the same. If I wanted to be a robot and universally accept everything and keep my feelings to myself, I'd do that.

Boo hoos and tears aside. You call it being a dick. I call it being honest. I won't sugar coat anything just to make you feel better. I will tell you you're ugly to your face. I'm not going to lie to make you feel better, and I won't withhold my opinion of you to make you, or people who look like you, feel better about yourselves. Especially when we're talking about video game characters, as this is a video game forum, last I checked.

I agree! it's horrible when feminists or social justice warriors try to police people over their looks and personalities! Telling beautiful skinny women that their body-image is oppressing the fatties, or telling traditional masculine men that they're misogynists and telling anyone who doesn't adhere to their agenda that they should change! It's quite disturbing!

Having optional femme fatale-like character paths, especially leading to the conditions and tone of Morrigan's offer, means she isn't really a femme fatale to the narrative. Making her fit the archetype requires confirmation bias and headcanon.

She ultimately isn't, unless you really, really want her to be.

I don't what say really about not caring about hurting others feelings, cause I care about it a lot myself and know lot of people care as well. Also is it really so hard to accept that some girls have short hair, or neon colored hair or small boobs or are chubby etc. People don't really live to please others with their looks. I'm totally fine with someone not finding me attractive personally, but is it something people need to say to my face, even so saying it's disgusting or saying I need to change cause they don't like it? No it's not. There is old saying in my country that would fit this: "Talking is silver, shutting up is gold".

Seriously it's not being honest if you tell people they are ugly to their faces. It won't help anyone or do any good, you are just being dick. Why do people want to be so impolite and rude here?

I mean why in the world you think it's okay to go to people and say they are ugly? If nothing else, it makes you a bad person. Also I wonder who gives you right to policy others on their looks.

As to your boo hoo about users posting about their preference and other peoples' muh feelz, three words, we don't care. Capiche?

Don't really know her. To be fair I only made that post after seeing how you and couple others were continuing what you discussed on "fat people" that got closed thread.

So I see, you are another people who don't care about people and think its okay to insult them for your own "honesty". Alright, at least I know what kind of person you are now.

See, the optional nature of it isn't what bothers me. Even in noir style films, often times the protagonist is able to see through the femme fatale character charade.

But with Morrigan: she never feigns helplessness, she never seems like she's leading me into deadly circumstances, and while I think Morrigan is awesome, I never get the impression that she's attempting to seduce/charm the Warden into being her servant. She spends more time responding to your advances, from what I remember (been a while since I played DA:O).

Those are kinda deal breakers for me in terms of treating her like a femme fatale. With a properly done femme fatale, I feel like I should be constantly wondering if I'm walking into a trap.

Small fact check: the derailment of this thread started in post #10 when SnakeCode decided to mock feminists without any provocation.

Nope. A femme fatale has to be sexy and seductive. Everyone knows you can't have sexy women in games anymore. It's misogynistic, body shaming, not "realistic" and i'm probably forgetting a few other things that make them "offensive." You just can't get away with characters like Morinth anymore.

I think it's almost funny how often I hear anti- or non-feminists complain about how feminists will ruin everything with their nitpicking and are offended at every tiny detail when they're exactly the same themselves. I've read whole comment sections under YouTube videos bashing feminists and how they would be offended at the video's content and how terrible that would be without any slighty offensive content or even feminist comments present. It's the same here. "OMFG, he wants feature x in here? Do the SJWs and feminazis have to ruin everything?!!11"

So in that sense, things are probably equal by now. Both groups can be annoying as ****.
