That can let us change our appearance. DA 2 did it right off the bat. For some stupid reason, it took DAI way too long to implement it.

Learn from the mistakes of the DA team, ME team.

ADD the damn mirror! It helps with RP with the hair options, and can let us fix mistakes since your CC is so BLAH with lighting.

I like the idea.

Although in keeping it within the universe lore, just make it an addition to the med bay as a facial reconstruction surgery or something rather than a space magic mirror.

I've only used the mirror once. That was in DA2 to change the hair color.

I don't see a problem with having it.

I always saw that one device in the back of the lounge next to the bar as something that could serve the Mirror of Transformation equivalent.

The medbay should charge (in-game credits!) for a full-on CC alteration, and the mirror in the cabin should allow for changes to hairstyle, color, and other minor stuff at any time.

Yeah, what IS that thing anyways?

- A VI-operated hair salon?
- A drink warmer?
- Super fancy Space Age Space Heater In Space?
- The place we store the EDI body when not in use?
- A machine to fix Shepard's seemingly busted arm? (And Garrus is the gate guardian preventing him from doing so. . .?)
- Volus cradle?

If they're going to have something like this, I'd really prefer it be a something mundane (indeed, like a mirror) and not some medical apperatus to indicate this is a non-canon feature and the player character is not literally getting facial reconstruction surgury in the story.

Frankly, I don't think it's necessary. Provide good lighting in the character creator and perhaps go Fallout-style and ask the player if they want to change anything after the prologue mission.

Oh please do! This would make things a lot easier for perfectionists like me that end up restarting 20 times because of some weird face feature.

Provide good lighting in the character creator.

This is key advice for BioWare.

Can I see myself naked in the mirror?

Don't be ridiculous. This is a BioWare game. The character creator should have the blackness of space in its background, and the PC bathed in the light of an M class star.

"Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the fairest Spectre of all"

I've never used the DA mirror myself. That said, I'm not against the concept.

We definitely need this. It's beyond irritating to make a character you love, only to notice their hair is slightly the wrong shade. That make up looks too vivid in the game (you didn't even notice they were wearing any in the cc!), the cheekbones are too pointy, they've got duck lips etc.

We should also be able to rotate our character fully (like DA). None of this silly 'character turns slightly to the left, slightly to the right, or looks directly at you' silliness. How are we supposed to know what the character will look like in-game if we can't see what they look like from any other angle? (e.g. profile)

It's an entertainment system, obviously. Virtual Reality. ^^

Real talk, I went throughout my first entire ME trilogy playthrough ALWAYS thinking there was some kind of device in the medbay that allowed me to change my look.

Imagine my disappointment when I messed up a design in the second playthrough only to learn there wasn't.

I'd like this, it helps if something doesn't look in the game like you thought it'd and you could also change hairstyle/beard and add or remove make-up etc. when you feel like trying out new style. It doesn't have to be more than mirror in your room what you can click and what brings you to CC.

Or maybe they could just put in hair Salons and clothing shops in what ever your major hub is gonna be?

I always assumed it was an Extranet terminal for entertainment purposes, or like some advanced Occulus Rift

Yeah I've only really used it once or twice really I mostly use the Black Emporium for it's resources along with armour and weapons as it's a relatively easy place to get too.

There is a literal mirror in the bathroom...
