I'm wondering if killing a high dragon changes anything in the quest Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts?

Killing or not killing Dragons has no effect on the story of the game.

You have to kill at least one dragon.

If you kill a couple of them, the spymaster will make a comment. But no. Killing a dragon doesn't effect that quest

You can't not kill it.

Besides that WEWH is not affected by anything you've done in previous quests

The only thing on story you get for killing the savage Dragons is a pair of irrelevant war table operations, the real reason to kill them is to get crafting materials.

The dialogue changes if you went there before Adamant.

It should, but it doesn't. Unfortunately.

I headcanon that doing so makes you more popular with the Orlesian nobles for Champions of the Just, as well as those at Halamshiral. Especially since I take Josephine's suggestion in the Celebrating the Dragonslaying operation on the chore table.
