What's consensus, do you still tell Ereba to hook up with Charr, knowing that she'll end up pregnant & alone?

Charr is a Krogan and Ereba is an Asari you meet on Illium in ME2. You can either persuade Ereba to dump Charr or agree to have children with him. If you convince her to stick with Charr, then you will see them again on Tuchanka when you go there for either Mordin or Grunt's loyalty mission.

In ME3 Ereba is a clerk at a store on the Presidium commons. She will either talk about how her husband is serving in the war, or simply comment on the situation on Palaven. You will find Charr's corpse during the Rachni mission with a recording he wants delivered to Ereba. He recites a poem he has made that will change depending on whether he and Ereba married of not. You can then deliver the recording to Ereba on the Citadel.

As to the original question: if my Shepard is anti-Krogan then I tell her to dump him. Otherwise, it will depend on whether my Shepard is idealistic or cold-hearted and calculating.

So your idealistic Shepard tells her to marry him, love will conquer all (not metagaming)
or your cold hearted Shepard tells her to marry him? (metagaming)

It depends on the character I play I guess.

My last Shepard listened to them and told them to go for it, my current Shepard wasn't suggesting anything to Ereba, she didn't want to meddle.

I don't remember what I did the first time around tbh.

Yup. It seems after all that time, Charr still cares for Ereba and Ereba for Charr...

So, even if I know that in ME3 he'll die, I hook them up together, 'cause Love is all we need.

Well I just come across Charr's body in my current playthrough.
I hope things turn out better for my other favourite couple.
The human girl, who sells her car to covertly buy her Salarian boyfriend top of the range armor.

No closure for that

INB4 Add that to the Extended Cut.
