Some of what I say now may be a touch 'complainy/whiny' but anyway.
My first wish
My first wish is for more story, more plot driven quests, or quests that other quests run off from, sort of like the witherfang quest in Origins, that is my all time favourite quest in Dragon Age. A lot fo the quests in the main story seem to be oh yeah we'll give you influence and that's it, Rather than point out all the quests that I disliked, I'll just point out the ones I did - 'cause I can count them on my fingers. The Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts Questline, the here lies the abyss questline, and the what pride had wrought quest line. I'm sorry that I complain so, but tis relates to what I wish for future content, these three- like the Witherfang Quest in origins- drive the player to seek more and immerse themselves in the world to unravel a story separate from the main story, but just as important, and interrelated because it has an effect on future events.
In summation, I want more quests that tell a story, and have a real effect on future events somehow.
e.g. I never got to talk to any of the warring mages or templars in the hinterlands (excepting of course the mages in Redcliffe village), it would have been nice if you could have got at least some of the mages or templars that were warring to chill out and listen to reason, or at least say something to the player like ' you're our enemy or, we're not listening, or some such' - though truthfully I don't know if I 'd ever try and do any side quest in the hinterlands again after having played through it a couple times now, to me it's rather incredibly dull around those parts, though I do suppose the dragon made it a little more lively- hey I wouldn't have minded the dragon swooping us all as we made our way onto the battlefields there, just give you a nice swooping bit of dread there for a second, and you have this horrible thought that oh no I'm going to have no choice but fight this thing, and then of course you get a quest update saying you can go pursue it later, that would have been nicer.
Now in saying all this, I think such a thing would be possible in DLC, but I mean it's not impossible to insert new quests into the game, a dlc that effectively patches the game with new quests that have more oomph in areas of Thedas that are lacking- like everywhere except crestwood, the arbor wilds and the winter palace.
My Second Wish
In agreement with BraveVesperia
1. The ability to wear my armour in Skyhold.
2. Or literally anything other than beige PJs.
3. Better hair and eyebrows.
+ the ability to alter body type at least a little
My Third Wish
More Elfy stuff, like ruins and stuff with awesome objects that can only be found inside elfy ruins a la Elder Scrolls Oblivion style with the varla stones that were able to be used to enchant stuff- I remember going into ayleid ruins in Oblivion for the sole purpose of finding them- a varla stone was like a requirement of enchanting. Actually come to think of it glyphs are kind of like that- hey you know what, that is good enough, but I'm bored of the old ice, fire, lightning and spirit enchantments, the people are cool enough to know more than that, maybe add some more awesome glyhs inside more elfy ruins, but make it harder to get them, I need a challenge dammit- in Elder Scrolls (apparently I like elder Scrolls a lot more than I thought) you are met with ancient traps and puzzles and such, we need more of those.
My Fourth Wish
Anything more to do with Flemeth
My Fifth Wish
I need more Background music playing looped in the background dammit, I meet every journey with disdain if I don't have good thematic music humming in the background. Even in reality I need music to be playing when I go outside, else I crawl deeper into the welcoming embrace of insanity, the quiet can be nice, but I'm used to awesome thematic music looping in pretty much every moive and game ever, so I need awesome thematic music post haste. Plausibly that could be fixed with a simple update to make it so background music plays all the time, or even just give us the choice to have bg music play as occured in previous games or not.
Wish the Sixth
Since I'm thinking of music now, Inon Zur, surely you can pop in some of the inon zur tracks from previous games to have play throughout, please.
I have plenty more on my list, but this was just a taste of the dark side.
