Hello, 

I'm looking for someone who actually bought Mass Effect Galaxy and who is able to play it.

I did. I assume you are looking for info, whether it's good or not.

 

First of, I usually don't play mobile games at all so I don't have any point of reference there. Only bought Galaxy because back in the day, I got a new iPhone and I was in ME2 hype mode.

 

The game itself works as such controls are ok and easy to use. It offers some diversion but I'd not call it real "fun", it's a bit of a drag after the first couple of levels as you always do the same.

The story is ok but nothing special, typical cliche "be the hero" stuff. Unless you adore Jacob and absolutely need a backstory on him, it's not really relevant  for the main trilogy either.

The presentation is a bot lackluster IMO. Only some lines of dialogue are voiced, most of it is just text with (rather ugly) still images. The few "cutscenes" are almost in an anime style, think of that what you will. The levels themselves are almost abstract IMO, just look at a screenshot.

The main problem though, is that you play through it in maybe 1-2 hours and that's it.

 

Ultimately, it's a pretty forgettable game, If you are only curious about the plot, you might be better of reading it on the ME wiki page.

 

If you are looking for a mobile ME experience, I'd probably rather go with Infiltrator. It's also not a super great game, IMO but it's way better than Galaxy.
