Not the way Cole does unfortunately. There is some banter post-break up between Solas and Cassandra, but it doesn't really say anything about the break up.

Cassandra: I admit, I know little of their meaning, but I did not think it was possible to remove Dalish tattoos.
Solas: Most Dalish would agree with you--and see little value in doing so.
Cassandra: Then how--?
Solas: It was done in a... private moment, I would rather not discuss it.
Cassandra: Of course, I should not have asked.

To my knowledge these are the only two banters referring to the post-break up scene.

Beware that if you keep Cassandra in your party long enough to basically run out of banter, this one will trigger repeatedly. A lot. I lost count.

Cole will mention it in banter, regardless of the vallaslin decision. Cassandra's is dependent upon you removing it. Sera and Josephine will also comment if you remove the vallaslin.

Thanks for the warning. I haven't had that happen yet. I usually shuffle companions (except for Solas☺️) because I like to hear the different banter.

if you go to sera in skyhold she'll laugh in your face if you had the tattoos removed and tell her the true meaning of them. and josephine also mentions it in skyhold.

Conversations being repeated ad infinitum is a problem with JoH.   I had Vivienne say the same thing to Cassandra around 3 times, having previously had the same conversation earlier in the game.

I must admit that companions failing to notice that you might be a bit distressed over the break up with Solas was something I felt was a failing in the writing of dialogue.   Even people, like Dorian, who you look upon (and who looks upon you) as a good friend.    Instead when I went to see him after the break up, what does he do but tell me he's thinking of leaving too.    Plus I never even got the Cole dialogue out on the road because it seems pot luck whether it triggers or not.    My poor elf girl had to deal with her heartbreak alone.

i think it took me a good few hours or aimlessly walking around and doing maker knows what to get Cole and Solas dialogue about it.
I also agree there should be some comfort from a companion. All you really get is after Solas leaves Lelianna can say 'i know you two were close, im sorry' or something along those lines.

I've only heard it once and I've played too many elven inquisitors lol. Could just be because I always switch companions though.

I completely agree. I was so disappointed, my character didn't get much (or any) console from her companions especially ones she was close to. Once I got the banter between Cole and Solas I felt a bit better but I can't help but wish there was more!

LOL I know right?

I've been thinking on replaying on Nightmare since I beat the Witcher 3 a few days ago and I miss Dragon Age and stupid Solas.

I'm booting up one of my dusty saves. The thing is the Solas romance is so painful still after all this time. #NeverOverIt

Yeah I feel ya! I just wish they'd at least give us some DLC news. Our quizzys need some sort of closure!
