It sucks. The only application worth using is with mega stability and accuracy and even then you have to sacrifice +25% damage or consumable slots to get the required bonuses in order to hit anything. You could just as easily use a GPR on the TSol if you want a gimp setup for headshotting, it has roughly the same kill rate for the amount of effort put in but you can get an extended clip for your troubles and don't have to deal with tunnel vision and weird scope sensitivity.
As for the saber, the stability is irrelevant unless you are good enough to get consecutive headshots on moving targets at long distance within the default recoil reset time, which takes several hundred hours of obsessive aim practice. Still, it is more powerful and can go longer without reloading, in addition to not needing excessive accuracy modding, and is not as class specific as the argus, being a decent if somewhat hipsterish option for tech casters.
And as an aside, the word "viable" has been such a joke on this forum ever since the days of ToplessPaladin or whatever his name was. If everything is "viable", what is the point of even using that descriptor anymore?
