Whilst I'm finalizing the Vancouver FB map, I've seen >>200 fast forwarded (x8) hall-of-fame and solo videos on this forum + reddit to cross check the waypoints placements and couldn't also help noticing the very different platform dependent styles of playing me3 in the community (whether it be speedrun, duos, solos etc.) :
Group 1) a majority of one group of veteran players seems to have a "pattern" running technique, running from one distinctive vantage point to next, intermittently using hard and softcover in different situations, almost like kneeding clay or flanking weakspots, (like picking off stray cattle from a herd)
Group 2) On the other hand the other group have an entropic, full frontal style, but using hard and soft cover for other reasons, ie when in cross fire, weapon reloading, power charging etc.
These different styles developed from different conditions "in-field" : Even though Cyonan's standard list (wavebudget/hitpoint/...) applies for all platforms, there are noticable platform pecularities like
A) difference in "enemy mph/kmh" & "delay before charging" speed : example - a standard sentinel without adrenaline have to run 3 times the distance to get sufficient "grab-safe" and "emptying a Harrier magazine" distance from a charged & hopping banshee.
B ) enemy barrier/shield recovery time - example a drell infiltrator that turns his back on a banshee with stripped barriers will see a fully replenshed barrier when turning around 5 meters later, whereas on another platform its still uncharged.
C) Enemies on 3 of the platforms will shoot you in the back or from the side and kill you. For the other, this rarely happens.
D) An excited/aggro Marauder can kill a standard human infiltrator with half a magazine on some platforms but not another.
