Don't remember seeing this before so sorry if it's already been posted but looks like this has worked for at least a couple people so far on reddit. Something to do with deleting a person from your friend list, check it out.

Edit: Deleted about 6 people but still experiencing crashes. Maybe I need to delete the other 94.

maybe it's a good thing, when i one day make friends it might happen to me

Get into main menu;

DON'T click multiplayer;

Click "load game"(you don't have to actually load any SP saves);

Back to main menu;

Click multiplayer.

 

Works for me every time, if you click multiplayer first, it WILL crash.

The reddit description uses alt-tab...
I have never seen a "crash on load" on the console-

alas, so it is probably only a fix 4 a particular type of crash on a particular platform.

Post edit : mb change/adapt the title, B4 other console'rs gets unnecessarily exited.

I have ran into similar problems on the PS3; where if you delete a friend whilst in ME3 the PS3 locks up.

The obvious workaround is to delete friends whilst not playing ME3.

I deleted TheTechnoTurian from my friendslist and gave it a shot, but same crash as always. Going offline then online continues to be the only fix for me.
