I don't have a problem with nudity in videogames. Maybe because its not so a big thing in europe to see naked ppl.

When you see the naked grey-haired pensioner hordes wander on the nudist beaches in all your children holidays on the beach, there is nothing more schocking in game nudity for you.

Personally its not a feature i care about but just putting it out there that bleeping can be used to pretty great comedic effect:

   Its a video game for goodness sake.  They are meant to immerse a player in fantasy and mock killing????  try playing games that are not rated "M" for mature and they won't offend your delicate sensibilities then.

Yes, but a ratings toggle is far from being censorship.  If it could be implemented without a drain in resources sure, add it in.  As I don't think it can be, I'd rather they make the game as graphic as they think best helps the story.  Which probably means less gore/sex etc than some want, and more than others want.

I disagree. I don't think it's far from being censorship. I think it's very, very close to being censorship. So close as to actually be a degree of censorship. I'll own the fact that I'm using the most provocative term available to me, but I'm doing so with complete sincerity. I think this the premise of this thread asks for something equal parts impractical and discourteous, and worst of all, I think it does so disingenuously. There's a pretense here that those on the pro side are becoming something of a persecuted minority, and unfortunately, it's not completely unwarranted. There's a lot of people coming in here and deriding them on a personal level, which isn't cool. 

 

But I'm trying to help represent the side that opposes this request for reasons a little above, "Ha ha, those guys are prudes." I think this idea is a really bad one, for many reasons, not the least of which that it's completely impractical to expect the Devs to have all the necessary time it would take to write two different versions of dialogue and integrate it well into scenes. 

 

I can support the notion of a gore toggle, and always skippable cutscenes, but absolutely not a dialogue toggle.

If we're not going to do nudity, fine. But I'd prefer fade to black rather than the awkward underwear scenes. 

 

Jack's "good" romance was imo the best even if it was just them with clothes instead of the weird Miranda thing, or the awkward scenes from Origins... Tali's was well managed too, I guess.

 

I'm all for them fully embracing the Mature rating for once. Come on, Bioware......show us some alien genitalia, finally. I wanna know what I'm really getting into

I thought that was how every women washes.
Certainly my girlfriend never takes a bath in anything less than formal evening wear, and behind a screen too.
And whilst humming "Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau" and thinking of the return of Owain Glyndŵr.

I of course make sure to only mention 'the act' after a stiff drink and with the thought of Empire firmly in my mind. After the very, very brief duty is done it's straight back to the club to discuss the Crimean Crisis and what nefarious deeds the dastardly Russian will come up with next (how times change eh ).

You know why that is?

Because even most Women don't particularly care for how a D*ck looks like. That's one of the Multitude Reasons why sending D*ck Pics is never a good Idea.
