The obstinance of one person.

I do have 2800+ hrs on Skyrim, and have not completed it, so that might be true. And while I do not have plans to play prior TES games, I await SkyWind and TES VI. Thing is, am pretty sure a good business model is to include more Players than advise them to go elsewhere, so shall be staying around and encouraging others to look at these suggestions.
Not when it includes going against what they want to for their games or giving themselves more work and wasting more resources for something that's honestly not that important to do

what about quality ass?

Progress starts somewhere, and it will have a cost. Without it, doubt we would have had the prior Bioware games and the ideas in them.
Implying the idea of a toggle (that even the devs dislike) counts among them

Prefer to honor my elders and try and listen to their experiences and advice. Also have respect for cultures that do this, as well as individuals.
My elders swear all the time and my father got me into R-rated horror movies when I was a wee lad of single digits age. May their will be done ![]()

Am certain you can still play....
play what? Quality ass? You said you prefer quality over quantity.....the question asked was "do you prefer quality ass over quantity of ass?"
My guess? You'll not find much support there, either.
I *personally* believe there are a number of people out there who would welcome the toggles, but they don't hang out in gaming forums.
It's definitely possible, but at the same time, audiences (gamers included) don't seem to mind hiding their displeasure when a developer crosses the line into gratuitous territory.
Prince of Persia: Warrior Within was largely condemnded for its abrupt genre shift emphasizing gore, language, and overly sexualized women. Hell, I definitely fall into that camp and disliked the game. Hitman: Absolution was hit with some of these criticisms for the 47 vs. Nuns trailer. If push comes to shove, gamers will make their displeasure known, especially if we're comparing games released in the same series. I can't speak for others' experiences, but in regards to these forums, I can count on one hand the number of language-related threads I've seen pop in my five years here, even compared to nudity/violence threads. I can't see why the anti-language movement would feel the need to hide, more so than say the anti-violence/nudity movements, unless there really wasn't a demand for it.
And what he's saying is that there's still a quantifiable amount there.
*shrug* I'm not sure I like where this is heading though. ibtl (in before the lock)
I have a hard time believing that there's considerable overlap between people who want to play violent shooters and people who want language filters in their game.

So do I, as I do not play FPS titles.
he said "shooters". Not "FPS titles". There's plenty of violent shooters that aren't first person.

Yes. Such as the "Mass Effect" series.

It doesn't really matter what kind of shooter it is, since an FPS game is not necessarily that brutal to look at. Take Destiny. The enemies explode like papier-mache pinatas filled with glowing glitter confetti and there's no blood whatsoever.
Was not aware that Shooters have Pause functions, as I play cRPG's and XCOM is the exception.
The pause-play feature doesn't really determine whether or not it's a shooter. Mass Effect is still very much a TPS. GTA V also has a pause feature, of a sort, but you still have to un-pause to gun characters down.

Have not played Destiny either. If it recommends a controller, I generally skip the title. As a rule, only CRPG's; thus a focus on dialogue for me.
It's just an example. The point is that FPS specifically doesn't mean anything in terms of the level of violence in its combat. An example: Gears of War. And of course there's our old sword&board friend Dragon Age, especially Origins with its nifty little head chopping moves for warriors and rogues.

You know what's a terrible business model? To spend money on hundreds of man hours coding a feature that isn't actually possible given the technology being used hoping that maybe you'll get five more people to buy it, or, more specifically, to meet your personal preference. You'll buy Andromeda whether it has a toggle feature or not, but you're talking about your parents and we don't care about your parents.
Why is this thread still open?
Support the Toggle.
Everyone knows you support a toggle. You don't need to keep ending posts with it. It's not like we'll forget.
