I think you might need a Twitch account to log into in order to join the chat room? I'm actually not sure because I've never participated in a Twitch chat before, funnily enough!

 

And yes, I try to be good like that! If I get an unknown mystery purple from a treasure room like that, I know the excitement in the room goes up... it sure does for me!

 

So, tonight's recap is no success yet, but I did get a unique purple staff from a treasure room - Blizzard's Path or some such like that - which seems decent. Probably won't replace my dragon staff, but a good purple's a good purple, even if it's not the purple I'm looking for. Got a bunch of salvage from the chests, so I'm on the gold hunt again. Did meet up with friends, though, shared a lot of laughs, had a guest chat appearance by Graham "BioMasika" Scott, and ran into fellow BSNer starrks.

EDIT: Although, I see you DO already have a Twitch account, Parthian. Huh. Not sure why you can't join the chat. I don't have any special settings on it... :/

The chat doesn't show up like a normal twitch chat -- it's weird.  The chat is on the side-bar of the actual video and for me looks like part of the video -- I can see it but I can't partake.

Weird. I mean, that's how it looks for me on my PS4 as I'm playing and I know it's recorded, but I figured everyone in there chatting was doing so using the normal Twitch chat sidebar thing.

That's the PS4 Twitch GUI you are referring to... It's part of the stream (video), and not the actual Twitch chat. Do you have the chat hidden/disabled for her channel by chance? Maybe Theatre mode got turned on?

Edit:  Definitely NOT theatre mode but while I was poking around like a cave man after activating theater mode to confirm it was NOT that, I stumbled across a little arrow (not seen before) which opened the chat window.  Thanks for the help trouble shooting, Angelus and DR!

I hope I did, I commented on it the (GMT) day after. It wasn't very loud though so it was partly drowned out by the door talking to me about new coats of paint. And I've forgotten where I put the tin foil.

Enjoyed watching your Avvar and Katari, but had to leave due to GMT time difference. It's a pity though that 2H warriors can't carry a second weapon. I'm sure you would find it easier to smash pots with a greatsword.
