Well, technically the rule is currently to open a minimum of one chest per day. I agreed to that up front early in the competition. In theory, I could play long enough to acquire gold to last a few days, then do nothing on those days except a 5-minute stream of me opening one chest.

 

I just currently don't have a stockpile of gold, so I am having to play a few matches a night to get to that 2,000 for the one chest per day. Gonna start saving some of the weekend cash for the weekdays, though.

 

But I would feel bad if I just went "meh, not gonna do it today" and screw someone's chance over. The "one chest a day" rule was in effect when most of the people started picking dates, after all.

But yeah, now I know how to Luka on Perilous, which usually went horribly before, so my expanse of Perilous-comfortable kits is widening... huzzah!

just a thought on this, but I think the fact that you have to play everyday is a bit ridiculous.  Part of the gamble you are taking on this is that you don't know if you will even have a chance to game or feel like it on the day in question.  

 

I move that any rule restriction of this type be stricken from the record

 

I agree.  I assumed when I named my date that there was a chance DR might not play.

Yeah, last night probably would've run longer but I was just not feeling it. Had an invite from you and someone else that I missed because I went AFK from the PS4 after I stopped streaming.

DR - I appreciate your consideration for all of us who have picked dates, but a lot of folks did this before the prize was offered, and for fun and not a small bit of affection for you.  I would hate for this bit of fun for us to turn into a chore for you.  Though it would be a shame for you not to game on the day I picked - as it is assuredly the day you will finally get your ring - feel free to take the day off.  Just know, you do so at your own risk lol

I agree with everyone else. I picked date for fun and as a way to show that I (and I think everyone else) wish you good luck. When you force yourself to play the game every day the fun that you initially had can disappear.

 

None of us wish for this to happen.

 

So if you want to take a break, if you feel like it's not the day for DAIMP, no one will complain. We're here because we want to accompany you in your big quest.
