Like Kreia said in KOTOR 2. Machines are generally superficial toys in comparison to the Force. "You see, the war, the true war, has never been one waged by droids, warships, or soldiers. They are but crude matter, obstacles against which we test ourselves."

"Don't be too proud of that technological terror you've constructed. It is insignificant next to the power of the Force."

-Darth Vader in regards to the Death Star

To be fair the Sith stole that too :P

I know they didn't make it. It was made by the Infinite Empire but at least it wasn't made by their enemy's.

I got to that page after I posted.

They do build some weapons in SWTOR though.

Yes but i'm talking about the JK line specifically and how it's chapter 1 villains are downright pathetic. The watcher was cool but everyone else was either unremarkable or moronic.

I thought that too at first. Until Angrel decided to attack Tython instead of attacking random small words or just simply leaking the information.

Tython would have pressed the point and eliminated a large portion of the the threat to him though, wouldn't?

Not really. He just opened himself up to attack and broke the treaty of coruscant if plain view. If he kept attacking small worlds destroying supply lines he could have destroyed the Republic single handedly with little trouble.

Not really. The Jedi would have just been sent to deal with him. Better to just trap all the Jedi as an Imperial rogue Lord and chop off the snake's head. And Angral can break the Treaty as much as he wants to, just as long as the Imperial government doesn't officially approve of it.

Yeah. Except he would be attacking random planets so they wouldn't be able to stop him. You've got me on the Treaty though.

Of course they would be able to stop him. There's nothing particularly special about the planet everyone randomly found 30 years ago. Yes, the Jedi live there, but it's just some random backwater Core World.Tython also has strategic importance. Uphrades had strategic importance. Random worlds out there? Not so much. So either he actually does something with his super weapon, like kill the vast majority of the Jedi, including the entire council, or draw attention to himself by attack the Outer Rim.

If it's not somehow linked to the movie canon, you can kiss it goodbye.

Kinda sad for me. KOTOR is the only thing about Star Wars that I cared about.
