so after reading all of your advice on running reaver I gave it a shot and lo and behold using my hard earned cash NEW SWORD!!,     It looks like it will do a crap-ton more damage than my previous mace AND it even makes up for me dropping a Level 12 Caliban at the weekend.....

I personally prefer axes and maces to swords just because of attack speed. I hate cancelling the swing with sprint. But nice pick up.

Aah I see what you mean, it's just the DPS pickup is insane compared to the Mace I had previously, makes things less torturous when left as the last man standing...

Kinda makes you think when these drop from chests now. A month ago, we had to grind Perilous Dragons for them.

I know I have two with 212 damage on them.....they really were very useful at the time ^^.. oh sweet memories

The DPS of the mace is much higher. I guess the sword is better though because the base damage is higher, which scales better with abilities?

 

I'm not at the point that I'm choosing between level 20+ epics.

 

It might not be terrible if cooldowns scaled with attack speed so slow weapons aren't always better.

Won't be much higher once she/he puts a rune and a grip on it i would think.

The longsword is a nice upgrade over that mace especially with beefy grip and superb R.. was my go to 1h warrior weapon of choice until bitter axes started falling from the sky.. only way forward is Hakkons now. ..
